The front reception staff were inattentive to us and other guests upon arrival. While 4 staff members were behind the desk, no one looked up to greet us. Thankfully waitress we had was phenomenal and made up for it as she was attentive, prompt and very pleasant. We ordered several appetizers that were under seasoned. However the onion soup and blackened chicken was very good.

The wait staff are all very professional. The biggest negative is the hustle and bustle of this very busy restaurant. Food is very consistent, and the staff all try to make one have a great experience. Only scenic if one actually has a table seated by the window with a view. Further away is not ideal. But I would say it is romantic is one is seated at one of the bench style tables where one can cuddle with their date. To date, I have yet to experience this coveted location; and I have been visiting this restaurant at least once a year since their opening. I book 5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:00pm and even 8:00pm time slots, and have always been seat at a table far from the winder. My last visit was by far the worse where I was seated at a table with my back to the winder on the second tier. I could have gone to Ruth Chris and enjoyed a better steak and ambiance given the sorry table I had.

First time Keg diner. We were seated in a perfect spot without even requesting...had a gorgeous view of the Falls. The dim lighting in the restaurant made it hard to view the menu...and the noise level was a little extreme. The food and service was exquisite!

Server didn’t come up to us to get a first order even I asked once… (Seems other customers had a first order taking not so long)That was the terrible moment I’ve ever had…Won’t go again.

Eating at the Keg in the Embassy Suites is usually a very good experience. Our last reservation on May 02/24 this was not the case unfortunately. Both our meals came back with the wrong garnish which they took back and put on the correct garnish. During this time our steaks had cooled off a fair bit and our medium steak order seemed to have turned to "medium well". To make matters worse I found "veins" running thru my cut of beef. They offered to redo my steak but we had a show to get to so I just cut away the unacceptable part and settled for the 50% off price reduction off the bill. I hope our next visit is much better!

Eva was incredible! She helped us order the right dishes and made sure everyone was taken care of throughout dinner. The food came out great, except for one of our steaks which was too salty. Other than that, our family had a great dinner and enjoyed the best view of the falls we could ask for. We’ll be back for sure and ask if Eva can take care us again :) Thank you Eva and team!!

Honestly , service was brutal . Waited 45 mins to get a drink . Bread arrived beofre drinks and then waited another hour on top to get food ! Crazy service for the keg

Don’t waste your time or money! Mediocre steak and poor reservation protocol with bait and switch. Management lacks the sophistication to ensure happy guests with simple creative problem solving.We booked a reservation with window seating for an early dinner. Upon arrival we were told window seating was on a first come basis and had nothing to do with our reservations. If we wanted a window seat we’d have to get on the wait list 45-90 min wait and wait in bar etc for a table to come up.Views of the falls from the restaurants location on the 9th floor are extremely limited and hindered by those who have window seat ie. you can barely see the falls if you don’t have a window seat. Needless to say 85% of the restaurant’s seating isn’t window seats.Spoke with no less the 3 managers to try to get a window seat when 2 came up after explaining how the window seat policy wasn’t communicated to us at time of booking. They refused to move us to either one of them siting (pardon the pun) various policies, unfairness to servers, food had been ordered etc. They did offer us to go back to bar and wait for one to come up.We had our 6 year old son with us and the main reason for the visit was to hopefully have a good dinner with beautiful view. We had neither.Steak wasn’t cooked well; poor sear on medium rare, somewhat tough meat, fries were cold, bread wasn’t warm, wrong side served on one entree, no steak knives at our place setting…needless to say these issues with the food were the cherry on top of the poor experience.After all this one of the managers comp’d up dessert (which was good) and a 25% discount. We just wanted good steak and a view. Interestingly, our waitress who was very nice and wasn’t a fan of management or how they handled things said that “was the least they could do” suggesting they should’ve done much more.Don’t waste your time with Keg Fallsview if you want good steak or a view.

The filet was perfect. The husband ordered a peppercorn strip and they definitely don't hold back on the peppercorn. Our server was great and drinks were delicious. It was a great place to celebrate our 10th anniversary

I would give zero stars if I could. Worst reservation and check in experience I have ever experienced. As it was a special 50th birthday celebration, I sent in special requests for window falls view table. I sent the request in the booking and also sent them a message through the app function. Upon arrival they had ignored the requests and they did not have a table ready. I verbally requested the same at check in but they disregarded my request and showed us a table in a dark corner in a section that had large parties of kids seated. The table did not even have enough chairs for the four of us or place settings. We expressed our concerns and told them that we were very disappointed. We left without having dinner and it ruined our special birthday dinner celebration.

Probably the worst experience at The Keg ever!! Second time at this location - had a great experience last year. This year, the steak was not done properly - medium rare was overcooked to borderline medium-well, took 30-40 minutes to get the food, and one of the sides was missing. Looked like it was never even put in the system by the server as it didn't show up on the bill. The server - although she was nice - came up almost immediately as we sat down asking if we knew what we wanted - before we even picked up the menus - and came back to follow up twice very shortly after even though we clearly were not ready to order. Yet once the food came out, we couldn't even get eye contact to let her know that one of the sides was missing until we were almost through our meal and there was no longer a point. Oh, and it took about 30-40 minutes for the food to come out. Very disappointing experience.

We made a reservation for 5:15 Wednesday April 24 2024. When we got to the restaurant we were told we could not be seated due to a construction issue and it meant that our reservation would be pushed back. This was unacceptable because we had another engagement to attend and this would compromise our plans. I realize that this was out of their control but when I was asked if I had received a call to alert us, my answer was NO. I found this was a case of poor service and communication.
