“I was out with 3 other ocals. We stopped in after a couple hours of wine tasting in NOTL with a great tour company called #NiagaraCustomtours Our server was Avi. (hopefully spelled right) He may have been the most personable server I have ever encountered! What a pleasure to meet him and spend some time with him. He is so witty and such an asset to your establishment. Honestly whoever hired him knows what they are doing! We will be back. Not just for a beer. Really, just to see Avi again :) Also the wings were fab! Thanks ?“
“We tried the wine tasting of 4 choices and they were very good. Personally I loved the Cabernet Franc red ice wine ($99 for 3 sale going on right now when a bottle could be easily $50 to $100 each or more) which was Uber sweet and so good and so smooth. It was really a great experience and a nice atmosphere with 80s music and indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They sell chocolate, sauces, jams, cheese, cured meats, chips, wine seltzers, and cute gadgets and magnets. The manager Vince was so gracious and friendly and because of him we bought wines to take home to the US. And the ice wines are great too! Try it.“
“My professional opinion: this is the best winery in Canada, possibly even North America. Truly compelling wine that will transfix and haunt you. Big Head is a leader in innovation and consistently produces extremely high quality product. Also, the proprietor, Andrzej Lipinski, has one of the most inspiring origin stories of how he got into winemaking that I have ever heard. Plus, he is often the one serving you behind the tasting bar! They charge fair prices for bottles and tasting, considering the very high value of the extremely limited amount of wine they produce. The best will never be cheap, or free, or have "spices added to the wine" (I cannot stop laughing at the previous poster's ridiculous comment). The best will expect you to make a reservation for a seated tasting, and the best will expect you to show up more than 10 minutes before closing to experience a proper tasting. These things are standard even at mediocre wineries in the area.If you are willing to leave your sense of self-entitlement at the door, and maybe not show up here disrespectfully drunk after being overserved at the previous 8 wineries that you have been to that day, you will have a mind-blowing experience here that will change the very way you think about wine.“
“Wow what a beautiful space! So well done! Cool art gallery up top too. The ladies working were very nice. Had fun trying the ciders. They didn’t have as many as they normally do but enjoyed what they did have! Off season when we went so the kitchen wasn’t up and running.“
“Great spot! Was originally called Small Talk Vineyards and just this July 2022 it has been sold and being renamed. No official sign, but everything says "Shiny Apple Cider". The staff is very friendly and helpful. We each got a flight if the different types of cider. They were all really good! My favorite was the watermelon mint Cider. Lots of space to park and sit down outside to enjoy your cider.“
“Haven't eaten anything here. Cute small coffee shop with a huge front porch. Wonderful movie theme and good coffee. Not many tables inside but please support so he stays open. Owner moved from the Texas heat to Buffalo winter. In the summer my dog accepted a free pup cup (whipped cream)“
“This was my second time here. It was so good the first time I visited the area that I made a point to revisit it. We had the nachos and BBQ sampler for appetizers, and then I had the 12 Oz—ribeye with Blue Cheese. They cooked everything to perfection, and it was terrific!“
“Despite the surrounding areas, Fellas is a Must See!! The food was delicious and the ambiance was so relaxed. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The server was awesome and checked on us several times. We had a blast here and recommend it to everyone. Great selection of all types of wines.I will come again on my next trip to the Niagara NY side. There's not much to see in the area but this spot is a Go To Spot for this area!! Grabbed a few bottles to take back home (if they make it that far).“
“The service was attentive, kind and fun they really added to the experience. I had mocktail strawberry mojito and it was very refreshing. I didn't try the food but others at my table did and it all looked delicious especially the chicken quesadilla. I enjoyed the outdoor seating but it wasn't great for chatting with our group. The music was so loud that it was hard to hear the people at our table. I probably wouldn't have minded if I was into the band.“
“One of the favourites in town. Great prices. Great portions. Great Tasting food. Keep an eye out for their specials. Fast Kitchen and amazing staff. Clean facility and clean washrooms. Neat interior design. Like the table designs. Menus is vast and tasty. Free WiFi. Parking can be limited.“
“We came here for my son's 23rd birthday. Unfortunately, I was feeling ill (not the fault of the establishment), so I wasn't able to enjoy myself as thoroughly as I normally would have. That said, the food was good, the service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend as a nice place to stop for a bite to eat if you're in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu and our waitress was very knowledgeable and able to make accommodations when necessary - i.e. she notified my wife that the fries are not gluten free but was able to suggest alternate items that were.“
“Very very friendly customer service reps.( I was served by Brigette and Patty..hope I got their names right ) It is not a junky looking cheap souvenier looking store. The prices are reasonable. They carry local. Layout is inviting and lots of room to move freely. Tasting the syrups with pancakes FREE..wow how often does that happen?? Free parking and lots..easy to go in and out. Next time I will have to try their poutine“
“After visiting the Floral Clock for the Zoom Tours, we went to Maple Leaf Place on a Friday around 5:30pm to do a maple syrup tasting! There were three different syrups we each tried. It was a cool experience doing this tasting because they taught us about the different types of syrup that Canada has! The syrups we tried were the Golden, Amber, and Dark. My favorite was the Amber syrup. The Amber syrup is a nice mix of sweetness without being too strong in the maple flavor, while the Dark syrup reminded me more of the American syrups. I'd recommend this place! The syrup tasting was fun and educational and this is also a huge gift shop with lots of cool souvenirs! They also have chocolate and fudge tasting here too if you don't want to do the maple syrup tasting.“
“Our sales team came for dinner at Gallo and loved it! We had meatballs, pizza (amaz!) pasta with Amatriciana sauce and my absolute favorite eggplant - a MUST HAVE for any eggplant lover! Delicious food from beginning to end! Service is just as outstanding as the food. We cannot wait to go back!“
“My husband and I enjoyed a wine tasting. We also had a charcuterie board. The wines were very good. We purchased 2 of the reds. We also bought some cheese that we had on the charcuterie. It is a very quaint European feeling winery. it was very enjoyable“
