Been to Ajisen one time when they first opened in Toronto. Gave it another try today, and my god....it's actually so bad. Got original pork ramen to go. Portion was small, and the meat was hard and flavorless. The broth was just sad. It's amazingly because you can somehow you can taste the MSG, yet it's somehow lacking flavor.Definitely not returning, esp considering nearby options. 1 star. Recommend to avoid

Nice food, affordable price. Their side dish are also very good. Ramen is basically good, nothing unique or spot-on if you're looking for something novel. Good place to go with friends.

The food was great although the waitress spilled my soup all over the place while handing it to me.

Amazing ramen! Only complaint is that the portions are smaller than I anticipated.

I had the Impossible option with tom yum. It was really amazing and flavorful. Would love to try all possible combinations with vegetarian. It is definitely better than my usual kinton ramen.Vegetarian options: Very many choices available and good

First time trying ajisen ramen (they have many locations)! We tried their pork original, ajisen original, and their gyoza as an appetizer. I found the food to be quite average - not the best ramen I've ever had, but still good (its the tonkatsu broth). Tasty and savoury, but not as rich as I'd like it to be and a little greasy-like. Noodles and egg were okay too. Forgot to take a picture of the gyoza - they were okay, wish they were more crispy. Service was okay too - food came out quick (ramen came out before the gyoza). Liked the decor inside the restaurant though - had a large display on the wall of fancy bowls!

Prices have gone way up but the portions have gotten wayy smaller. You don't even get enough soup for the noodles if you order extra noodles like I did. The manager always seems grumpy. Only saving grace is the food is still really good except it's crazy expensive for the portions you get. They also removed our favorite side dish the chicken cartilage .

They did not have any of the Beyond Meat vegan options on the menu so I ordered the Vegan Harvest with miso broth.

I came here because they were having a 50% off of their original ramen. The place had lots of seatings but they were super busy so I recommend coming early to avoid waiting for a table. The ramen was quite salty and oily for my liking. I wish it had more pork slices too. I would like to come back and try their other ramen. Hopefully, it won’t be as salty and greasy as the original one. We ordered the takoyaki as well.

Food was delish! Service was also pretty quick. Went here for Ajisen Day (Feb 22) and it filled up pretty quick! But the servers/hosts were pretty quick as well-with orders, service, getting the bills and also prepping/cleaning for next customers. We ordered the Ajisen Original and

TLDR: You're better off going to any other ramen shop nearby.I went for dinner to grab a bowl of their original ramen for $7.99, as part of their anniversary special and BOY was I disappointed. The broth was pork based tonkotsu broth and it lacked depth of flavor that you get at nearby ramen shop and it was VERY salty.(I almost feel like the instant tonkotsu ramen you can get at T&T for $5 for 5 pack tastes better)The noodles came out al dente and was horrible in terms of texture. The char siu was bland and not tender enough.I added extra corn (+$1.99) and half an egg (+$1.99) and the egg came out cold and was not the soft boiled egg that you'd get at other ramen shops (other ramen shops' yolks are slightly jelly like almost. Ajisen's was something I made at home).I am so glad I did not pay full price $15.99 for the bowl of ramen.I will never return to Ajisen ramen.

Their food is good, a bit on the saltier side for the soup. The staff are friendly.
