Day 1's will know what I am talking about. Location has went downhill, pricing has gone up drastically which I understand but the patty itself is completely different, no meat and tastes odd. Been coming here for 15+ years when patty coco bread and drink was $2. Going to Allwyns permanently now...

Real Jamaican style hardo bread, spice bun and patties to satisfy your cravings. The hardo bread from Allan's is still the best IMPO. And very friendly people who work there.

Please get on the Uber Eats app so more people can order. Also Instacart is another great option. I'd order more often as I live downtown so it's a trek to get there in person.

I hate a store that can't keep their own hours of operation. I took an Uber rushing to get here before 4pm, to arrive at 3:47pm and see a closed store. There was another Asian lady behind me too. This is the last time I will be disappointed and inconvenienced by this establishment.

Bought a dozen patties, they take only cash so I gave them a $20. it was 18 so she starts to give my twoonie back, so I tell her to keep it and give me a cooked patty which was listed for $2. She continues to hand me back my $2 and says sorry its $2.10....I look at her in disbelief. I reiterate to her that I just bought a dozen, i want to buy a single thats listed for $2 (just as the dozen is listed for $18) im short 10 cents because they only deal in cash, and that even with the 10 cent short fall they are making more than enough profit on my transaction. She continued to tell me sorry and refused to let me off 10 cents. I now understand why they are still in this beatdown strip mall and seemingly cant level up.

DO NOT buy their beef patties. This week I bought a dozen beef and after opening the box I saw that they looked and tasted different. They tasted more like the frozen, grocery bought ones. I ended up throwing them out because my guests took a bite and did not eat them. I went back the next day to ask why their patties changed. They said that they’re selling a different brand of mild patties. I told them that they should have mentioned this before I purchased it. They didn’t seem to care and continued doing what they were doing and turned their backs while I was talking. Very poor customer service!!! Don’t waste your money on their patties. I will NOT buy from there again.
A great place to grab a quick affordable snack! Their spicy goat and beef patties are my favorite. I like it with coco-bread but they are great on their own as well. You can buy them by the box fresh or frozen. Cash only!

Allan’s patties are one of the best patties in the city. However, for the last month the Peanut Plaza location has been selling their competitors patties. The last two times we’ve been there, they’ve offered us Tastees and I’m very confused. Is Tastees buying out Allans? Can we petition this? Is Allans identifying as Tastees? What is happening? If you can manage to get Tastees into the store… can you not use the same method to get Allans from the bakery in Scarborough?… THAT YOU OWN??? I’m so confused.

Cheap and yummy Pattie’s can’t go wrong. Cash only so come prepared with money. Wish the pattys had a bit more fillings but for the price not sure if you can expect much.
