We visited this restaurant on a Saturday at 12:30pm and there was 6 other customers there. That’s usually a bad sign for me. We just came from a restaurant across that was packed and noisy. It was rather quiet and then they put music on at 1:30. The server was fine. Not overly friendly. He was also the bartender. The place had a nice bar area. To me it’s more of a bar atmosphere. I ordered the salmon $27 and my husband ordered the schnitzel for $25. The salmon was rather plain, lacking. The drink I ordered was a pineapple vesper $9. There was no garnish. Presentation lacking. We ordered coffee and he didn’t bring milk. He said people usually get black but I think he should bring cream anyways. We ordered the cheesecake for $7. There was no dessert menu. Only 2 desserts. I liked to have more variety at a restaurant. No Christmas decor at all and it’s 2 weeks away. This place was lacking. Once is enough for me.

Very enjoyable, huge indoor dining room plus a big outdoor patio. Great beer and food choices. Kid friendly, high chairs available. I didn't give 5 stars because the washroom was a mess...I don't understand why a restaurant like this, situated in a high end area does not take the time to check the washrooms every hour. When I ate here it was absolutely not busy at all so no excuse whatsoever!!!

Nine of us cannot be wrong - we all liked this place and the food. The place has a spacious patio with tables and umbrellas, the food was pretty good, the service was great and is located in the heart of an area that you would love to attend. Parking is available in proximity by the plaza, steps away. I had the vegetarian cauliflower steak with quinoa, which I truly enjoyed and an Urquel beer, which I already know is good. For desert, the Bread Pudding. This time, I did not want to be the paparazzo (singular), as this was my spouse's friends getting together.Even though, I enjoyed all I described, I must also point out that salads are not in the menu at this location; sitting inside would be too cold for us in summer due to the location's air conditioning 's settings, the chairs outside are too heavy for some to move.I must also point out that management did look after us, after discovering that there was an unforeseen amount in the bill, this was caused by the fact the gratuities are already included in the bill (18% is added to your total automatically). This is a place I would recommend for sitting outside or if you are in search for a well airconditioned place with friendly staff. If salads is your thing, do inquire first, perhaps this review will be the first step to motivate them to carry this appreciated dish. For non vegetarians, there are numerous food types. They also have big spacious modern washrooms inside, so enjoy! ???

Grabbed dinner here with a few friends on Thursday night and it was quite empty so we were seated right away. They have typical pub food with burgers, pizzas and lot of apps. For my main, I decided to go with the beef brisket dip, which was quite good but could use more flavour as I couldn't really taste the gouda or aioli. The pretzel bun also got quite soggy mid way through. For my drink, I got a bier market sangria which was delicious - the typical sangria. The service was great with our waitress checking up on us often though it it felt like they were rushing us to leave near the end despite not being a busy night. Overall, decent food with great service.

Had an amazing dinner here with friends. We ordered a lot and shared everything: nacho board, smoked chicken pesto pizza, schnitzel, calamari, and different drinks. We'll definitely come back for their calamari.Their staffs are friendly. They are quick in taking our order and served in a timely manner. The place is clean. There were so many people when we went there but it was not that packed which is good. Will definitely be coming back.

July 27, 2022 Update:They sent me a link to a website for my feedback of my visit. I don’t have my receipt because we got fed up waiting so I had to find our server gave her the money and left and I went to the link filled in what I could including my phone number and still haven’t heard a thing back from them.Took my family for dinner, 6 of us. First the good, 4 of us ordered burgers which were very good not great sides but very tasty burgers, one of us ordered the cauliflower dish which I was told was very tasty. Now the not so good. My wife ordered a pizza which was not good at all, very doughy and undercooked. The restaurant atmosphere was very run down in appearance, uncomfortable chairs, wobbly tables, and not the cleanest place. The service was mediocre but cheerful, we waited long for drink refills, and it took a while to pay as we were trying to get out quickly after eating and not enjoying the surroundings. The consensus from all was we would not go back again, we didn’t expect 5 star dining but we weren’t ready for dumpy dining either. It’s more of a 2.5 star rating because the majority of the food was tasty but everything else was really lacking. What a disappointment, we had hopes of finding a nice casual place to grab a reasonably priced dinner and enjoy some quality family time. The search continues. Lastly, the prices aren’t terrible but we’d go to a truck stop before going back.

Good beer selection, obviously)) Food is average to delicious, depending on the meal. Staff is extra helpful and honest, which I appreciate a lot. They do mixed up the bills pretty often, but not a huge flaw. Good place in good area overall.

Been to The Bier Markt a few times. Went for dinner tonight. Great service and atmosphere. The food was good but a bit under my level of expectation. Had the pork schnitzel to eat and a few drinks (Bulletproof Seltzer, Crushable Flight Taster, Pineapple Ninja Mojito, & Pineapple Lavender and Honey Vesper). Overall would recommend others visit this restaurant.

Had a burger. It was OK. I've had better, I've had worse, so it's kind of mid-ground, nothing special, but OK and does the trick if your friends take you here and if that's what you want. But not a destination place just for a burger - better served by many other specialty places.

Went here today after we were shopping this afternoon. We were seated in just a couple of minutes. Very nice staff at front door and during service. Our server was a polite & soft spoken young lady named Tara. She was a delight and very attentive with everything. [Thank you so much Tara!!] Food was "Ok", I had the beef brisket sandwich [could use seasoning and salt] with Au jus and side caesar salad. My husband had the chicken schnitzel sandwich & ceasar salad, he said was good. Not sure I'd go back for the food but service was perfect.

Great atmosphere, great food.Calamari was great, wished the portions size was a bit more. The rib bites were great, a lemon pepper style flavour with some sauce on the side.We both decided to get the same dish, the Brewhouse Burger. It was great came with fries or onion rings. Burger felt slightly overcooked.Would visit again in the future.

Seasonal beers on tap are excellent!

Food was a bit under my expectation. They didn't have mussels and oysters due to covid. The Onion soup was disappointing. The steak was over cooked for medium rare. The beer flight, fish and chips and riblets were good.Service was great by bartender Dave. Although we had to wait a bit for his service since he was the only one on the bar side, he was apologetic, energetic and checked up on us often.

Food was mediocre at best. Got the bier cheese dip with pretzels - overly salty pretzels. The brew house burger was alright. Nothing special. Service was alright, waiter was nice. The drinks were okay, not my taste. Overall would not come again (personal preference).
