Good Friday is the busiest day of the year I’m absolutely understanding of that! Wait time was of course a bit of a wait, Food was wonderful and service was fast paced and friendly. First time visitors and we had a great meal and all! Thank you! Just a note if someone orders a Guinness can you please serve them in the appropriate Guinness glass. Was given a small glass and wasn’t able to enjoy my beer properly as the full can didn’t fit in the glass. Will be back ?% thanks for having us!

I ordered Halibut fish and Chips with coleslaw, The fish was delicious white and flake not oily, The service was perfect, I think it’s the best one in North York, I will comeback again.Parking: A lot of places for parking.
Wish I got pics before I devoured it! We walked in for takeout, ordered 2 cod and chips meals(9.95 each- fantastic value!) large tartars and a coleslaw. The fish was so fresh, juicy and flaky! The batter is thin and light and crisp! I was really impressed. The coleslaw is my personal favourite- it’s the chopped one with the creamy white dressing, with just the right amount of tang! Would come back again for sure:)

Good classic fish and chip shop. Halibut and chips were amazing. Sooo fresh and servers nice and hot. Great wait staff. Lots of parking. A little bit pricey. $82 for two for lunch. 2 fish and chips 2 pops and one salad.

So this is what happened. I went there I wanted have a dine in. There was this old lady who assumed that I was here for take out. Maybe she never saw any brown person coming in for dine In. And she was like in a very intimidating voice "take out is that way,go there". It felt insulting then I just took the food and went to another place to eat. I took a fish and chip. It was good. But even if you're food is good you can't treat your customers like this.
Excellent fish and chips and meat pies. We often take their pies home. Yummm

We have been enjoying High Street Fish, Chips and .... for a number of years. The fish is delicious and the chips are fabulous. The portions are huge so we order a half order of chips. The staff are so friendly, they know you by name and your usual order. It's a great friendly neighbourhood restaurant and take out. Best fish and chips in the GTA as far as we are concerned. The large parking lot is a bonus!
