Truly an unbelievable meal. The flavours were insane, the textures were perfect, every bite was better than the last!! Spicy but not too spicy, wildly delicious. You MUST try and I MUST have again.

Love their green pepper snakehead fillet in soup, which they don’t have at the Scarborough/Richmond Hill location.

Delicious food, good portions, easy on the pocket and extremely quick service! I really enjoyed our dinner here.We had the Roasted BBQ duck and egg fried rice which was simple yet flavourful along with the steamed chicken in chilli oil and Wok fried crisp Chilli Chicken Gristle. They have a decently limited menu and I appreciate it because too many options sometimes makes it too difficult to choose.

Decent place for a simple meal. We didn’t try their classics/best sellers, but instead ordered two dishes: the green pepper fried pork intestine and the Sichuan eggplant, plus two small bowls of steamed rice. Altogether it was just enough for two people. They tasted pretty good, and the portion size is okay, although the value would be a bit lower compared with restaurants that offer lunch specials. For some reason the restaurant doesn’t seem to appear on Google Maps when you’re browsing the area unless you specifically search for it.

The food was really really greasy and didn’t have much taste. I had a stomachache and felt nauseous after the meal. The food came fast but the service was not good. We had to go up to the cashier to ask for stuff. I don’t think I’ll ever visit this restaurant again.

I am very sorry to deliver a low review but the food here is not prepared properly. I know that Sichuan food is oily but I found that every dish even the fried cabbage dish were all deep-fried first and then stir fried which though I hear is common in fast Chinese food places, the deep fryer oil penetrated everything. It all tasted like the same dirty oil! Please do not deep fry vegetables prior to a stir fry dish. Vegetables should be the edible. Perhaps you should use fresh oil in a wok each time you make a new dish to crisp up the veggies prior to your stir fry.I was so disappointed expecting a feast but rather receiving four dishes submerged in oil and tasting like a deep fryer. You have the flavours right but you need to pay a little bit more extra attention to the process of making a real Sichuan food. My chinese in-law parents wouldn’t eat it. And, us younger generation Chinese cultured Chinese and westerner alike do know what it is supposed to taste like. Please review your processes as you wont be in business long if you continue to serve deep fryer oil instead of traditional Sichuan food.

Love this place, had their Sichuan pickled basa which we’ve had many times before, which is a must have. Also had their fried squid tentacles which were very delicious as well. They’ve got a mid size seating arrangement and a fast service. Would definitely visit again.

Service is fast and kind. I ordered some dishes that require certain techniques. And they are all very tasty n a bit above my standard.Stir fried kidney is tender to the point, and colorfully decorated with various spicies. No excessive oil underneath.Spicy pot with bung is also crispy and tasty. Again no excessive oil in the pot.A solid recommendation!

I think this is the best Hotopia in the city. I have been to the other 2 locations various times but this one by far has the best Mala hotpot. We got meat lover, the portion was big enough for 3 people (order rice on the side). The ingredients were fried to perfection and seasoned well. Service is adequate. Will come again!

Excellent food, really affordable, authentic as well.

Rude staff and they're never ready on time for drivers. All they say is "not ready". They dont apologize or tell us how much of our time we will be waiting for. They waste our time, gas, put us at risk of tickets, and they make deliveries for other restaurants late. Theyre very disrespectful and unprofessional. A message the the owner: Making drivers wait for you to finish making the food isn't part of the process.
