Ichiban Asian All You Can Eat has been in business over decades but this is the first time we visited and we fall in love instantly. First of all we all know how hard it is to park on Yonge street but here you can park at empress walk garage for 2. 5hrs for free! I also included the parking map they have in store. Secondly they have the best shrimps and scallops sashimi we've ever had for the longest time. The sashimi so fresh and they are served on ice so it kept them as fresh as they can. The restaurant is also very spacious and ipad ordering and robots delivery makes things easy and fun. We went first time on weekend for dinner, It's better to make booking in advance because there were long line ups. The second time we went on Monday for dinner, it was pretty empty but there's no scallops sashimi on Weekdays. Will definitely for sure come back million times more.Parking: 2.5hr free

Waste of time and money

The service was really disappointing, we waited for 4 orders of sushi for 30 minutes while others around us who came later already got their food.We were asked to tip for bad service. It seemed like they were forcing us to tip. We didn't want to make a commotion so we ended up doing so but it felt unreal to be forced to tip for a not so well service.

Just left this place and it was a bit of a letdown. The food was okay, but a lot of it was served cold, which was disappointing . Plus, despite ordering on the iPad, we only got a fraction of what we asked for. On top of that, it was a busy Friday afternoon and they were seriously understaffed. Waited forever for our food. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon. ?

Unidentified creatures were eaten in the food. I don’t know if they were bugs or something else, so I didn’t want to continue eating. But the presentation was delightful and beautifully presented. I hope the freshness of the food can be improved. It obviously tastes like it has been frozen for a long time. The cooked food is too salty, with too much salt.

Not impressed. Came for 23.99 lunch ayce special solo and was charged 15% gratuity when it clearly says on bottom of Tablet menu that gratuity applies to parties of 6 or more. When asked about it I was told it is included for the lunch special. No notice and it is charged after tax. Feels like a big scam.

Made a reservation for 7:45PM. Apparently they continually take reservations even if they don't have the tables so there's a crowd of people at the hostess stand. The host was rude and doesn't even give you a confirmation.By 8:05PM the line had died down so I asked the host what place we were in line telling him that my reservation had been for 7:45PM. He then spoke to someone after me who's reservation was 8:00 PM and then proceeded to seat the 8:00PM reservation despite me speaking to him first and having the earlier reservation and providing me with no explanation as to why???? That really soured my experience.The food is okay and I really like their octopus sushi (which no one else seems to have). However why is there a mandatory 15% tip when you also get your own salad/soup and dessert?

Food is nice and delicious but they serve very long. You have to wait for another few minutes before they give your order. It is not satisfying experience. This is not the regular eat all you can buffet. This is "order anything you can if you can wait 10mins per food"

Food was ok, selections at lunch was slightly lower than other restaurants like sushi legend. Parking is terrible. You have to park within the same parking lot but on an opposite side which was confusing as everything is hidden. We were also charged an automatic 15% tip for a party of 2 which was strange and was given to options or a heads up that tip was included? Overall, the entire experience was confusing, would not come back and rather go to another restaurant that’s more straight forward.
