This Abula took me to Lagos!!!“Inside Lagos Kitchen” offered a delightful experience with the Amala, complemented by Ewedu and Gbegiri. While the stew accompanying the Gbegiri and Ewedu could be improved, the blend of all three elements created a delicious combination. There were four meat pieces. I like that the Shaki was big, but I wish it were softer. The Beef Suya, although well-seasoned and tasty, was dry and challenging to chew. On a positive note, the Efo stood out, impressing with its well-seasoned meat pieces and fresh look. The Ewa Aganyin seemed overpriced for its size and taste, as the beans were quite dry and the sauce was “slappy”. I didn’t enjoy this one.Lest I forget, the food was tightly sealed in the package. And even after it was delivered, the food remained well-presented! I love that.I can order from here again ?.

Great customer service from the owner and her husband! The Ayamase is my favourite, the Amala and ewedu had the perfect spice level. Definitely

It was so cold in the restaurant and they could barely turn the heat on . The food took so long and my oh my the lady that served was so rude and arrogant . She has no respect ,0 manner of approach . I felt so disrespected and embarrassed that I cried in my car . Just cos I complained about heat and wait time and she inflates her prices however and whenever she feels .I’m never going there again . It sad how she treats people like they have no other choice except to eat from her .

Utterly disappointed to say the least. I waited over half an hour for two wraps of amala only for them to come out with one. The guy literally confirmed the price with me and asked if I wanted both meals separately. Then they wanted me to wait another half an hr for them to make another one. Absolute nonsense, disorganized folks! How can you say you forgot it was two meals after asking me two times. The restaurant looks unhygienic and I had to take my meal out due to the mess of a place.

I went here weeks ago with my children , ordered amala, gbegiri, and ewedu while my daughters ordered jollof rice. The meal was very tasty and served in good time. I even met a white lady who came to try the food for the first time, and she enjoyed hers, too.I would only ask they make the ambience more African. Something to show its African and especially a Nigerian brand. Decor to match the name 'Inside Lagos'. Perhaps some beautiful paintings on the wall or food affirmations, etc.As a media personality, I pay attention to such details, but it doesn't take away the fact that I had a good experience the first time.Ooh, the owner is pleasant, by the way.I wish them all the best.

They have trash customer service. the food is super oily but that’s the price of taste I guess. They don’t have anyone to answer you when you come in. They get to you when they get to you. For taste they probably better than some others but for the customer service it’s probably not worth returning, a one and done type of

Don’t be deceived by the positive reviews here. I don’t know if they get incentives to leave a good review here. Please read my review to get an idea what to expect, I could not eat the beef Suya I bought. It was stale (not fresh) very very very very salty. I trashed it. It was not worth the money. Plus it took almost 1 hr to get it delivered. It was delivered with not tooth pick or paper towels. Very poor customer service. You need to do better I wish I can give 0

Love this place. I drove almost an hour each way just to get there. The food is fresh & tasty and the portions are decent. I like the fact that they don't cook with as much oil as some other restaurants. It takes some time for the food to be ready so I'd advise that you order ahead, but it's worth the wait for fresh food. It's also not one of them vibey lounge spaces so if that's what you are looking for, this place is not for you. I honestly believe tha are t the people giving a bad rating went to a different restaurant. The food here is very good.

Was visiting Toronto from the states. Extremely disappointed in this place. Despite the reviews I decided to give it a try. I purchased the following: two orders of egusi soup with pounded yam and an order of puff puff. Also had jollof and meat and okra with eba.The jollof was actually yummy! Everything else was a major turn off. To start my puff puff had a FOREIGN object inside that resembled a bread bag tie or a trash bag plastic tie. It was literally cooked inside of it and I bit into it. So disgusting. The egusi was underwhelming, extremely lumpy and under seasoned. Also it was clumpy with hardly any red stew, just oil at the bottom. Also like others have stated the portions are very small for the price, I must say I was relieved with the small portion so I didn’t feel so bad wasting the food since I threw it away. I will not be back! It was so bad I almost feel entitled to file a chargeback on my card. Disgusting place. Stop playing with people’s money and food.

This was, by far, some of the worst quality Nigerian food I’ve ever had. I wish I didn’t have to say it that way, but that’s the truth. I ordered Suya & puff puff. Suya was unseasoned. Basically just ate fried meat with a sprinkle of spice on top. They didn’t even use the correct spices or garnish. White onions instead of red onions. Disappointing. Portion sizes were so small, despite me ordering the Large bowl size. $35 for this? I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It’s bad enough paying a high price for food, difficult enough to find ethnic food in Toronto. If you’re going to make poor quality ethnic food with minimal love or effort, then don’t open an ethnic restaurant. Just open a burger joint or something.
