Passed by and never noticed there’s a Japanese Restaurant near by, ordered takeout the first time with this Chirashi Don. It’s surprisingly good and the way they present the takeout order was decent! Highly recommend!

Ordinary Japanese cuisine decor, extraordinary service and taste. The way sushi chef prepped the fish was an art, it wouldn’t taste the same if it wasn’t this particular sushi chef.
Great restaurant friendly owners and servers and nice ambiance too, didn't expect such a nice place in this plaza. Would recommend a visit.

A little confused with the low ratings of this place. Been here twice recently for lunch on the weekend and thought it was decent price for value. We're talking around $14 for a salmon set with Miso soup, salad, and ice cream! The restaurant itself is fairly small. We had to wait 10-15 minutes both times to be seated as the restaurant was quite packed. The staff were apologetic and friendly though, and at one point, even offered to take our order in advance of being seated! The service was on the slower end on our second visit as they were short staffed and extremely busy, but the owner still found time to apologize for our wait at the end of our meal. Would come back, not just for the food, but also the wonderful service.
I took my son there tonight for a nice father-son meal. He's 10 years old and loves sushi. Unfortunately, 4 pieces of sushi in, he noticed a bug crawling in the ginger garnish. We thought it was a fruit fly at first, but it did not fly away when we tried to shoo it; it kept crawling. I hate to say it, but it could have been a small roach? I showed the server, and he was apologetic, but it really turned us off. I did not even want to finish my dish, so we decided to leave. We paid for my dish (maybe we shouldn't have even paid for that since I barely ate it). Disappointed to say the least.

For the price they charge, the food is plenty and tasty. Sushi is fresh. Love the lunch special bentos. They always offer us ice-cream after the meal which is rare for restaurants to do these days.
