Loved the food and service but it gets really loud. We went on a Sunday night and it was full and we could barely hear ourselves talk. I must be getting old! Also, their phone system doesn’t work. I tried to make reservations and leave a message and it just hangs up after giving you these options.

Good was delicious, as was the wine. Our server was so nice and helpful. We found the restaurant somewhat noisy which can make it difficult to have a conversation at times! But that just shows how much everyone was enjoying it there. Will definitely be going back soon!

First time visiting here for a friend's birthday and tried their rib eye. Delicious food, great service, beautiful atmosphere. Keep up the great work.I am learning Italian and their staff was very kind and hospitable in helping me to understand some things on the menu.

Food was good as was service. Only downfall that'll keep me from returning is the fee for bread. To refer the restaurant as being authentic Italian.....this is a definite faux pas.....bread is to be served as customary upon being seated. If you want to nickel and dime....bake the cost into the entrees.

Just had dinner at Mezza Notte. Our food arrived quickly. I ordered the Fettucine D'Estate. It was just so/so. My husband had the Rigatoni Russa and the pasta was hard. The service was fine. Be aware that it is very loud in the restaurant. We have a regular Italian restaurant in Scarborough which is far better. Disappointed.Parking: Disappointed.

I was excited to see a new place open up in the neighbourhood. Our daughter’s communion was coming up and we looked into booking the downstairs private room. Called the restaurant and 1 of the owners called back. He had a time slot available that afternoon. Great! We went in to see him. First off he had no other ideas for different option other than the bland out of date dishes on the 1950’s menu. Ok, so we’ll go with those. He then told us that he would speak to his partner and call us back in a day or 2 with a price. Well he called back 2-1/2 weeks later saying that he didn’t call earlier as he felt that we were not going to book anyways. Well guess what? How can I book a place that has no other suggestions for food options and calls back 2 weeks later.Anyways your loss not mine.I know you’ve been in business for 30year plus.I think it’s gotten to your head. You should find a different avenue of business. Maybe one that doesn’t require customer service.

The food was and never has been a problem, well in the past. The new menu axes most of the old inuding some favorites. What is left has smaller portions and was overcooked. Servers are inattentive, the atmosphere is dead from old locatio to new. With the open space of the new location it is impossible to hear people at your own table including the server. The table are cramped and uncomfortable. All the charm and class the restaurant had once is long gone. Never coming back.

Ate here before was delicious. Was very excited to go again… Made reservations a week in advance and once we arrived they informed us they were closed for a private event. Very inconvenient after making a special trip to eat here. Loved the food but very disappointed.

The tables are so small that you can barely put anything on it. The atmosphere is not conducive to date night or Valentine’s Day. There is little space between tables so it feels like you are double dating as you are sitting so close to other people and you can hear them. The food was okay, nothing to rave about.

I took my mum and daughters on Feb 8 for my mum’s 87th birthday. The food was great and the service super. The waitress was so friendly and helpful and really added to the whole vibe. I’ll definitely be going again.

We celebrated my son's baptism at Mezzanotte. The food was amazing! All the guests enjoyed themselves. The staff were all so pleasant and accommodating. Gus (one of the owners) had great suggestions for setting up the space and very helpful ideas for our menu. He was always happy to help and checked in throughout the night. He let us use their basement hall (free of charge), which was cozy and intimate for our event (of about 20 guests). He allowed us to bring the cake, bomboniere, and flowers in the morning ahead of the function. Jen was our server and she was awesome as well. I would definitely book my next event at Mezzanotte. I also highly recommend Mezzanotte if you're looking to book a private function. The food is on point, the people are polite, accommodating and well organized, and the atmosphere is pleasant.Vegetarian options: Menu options allow for fish and dairy free options.
