Shoutout to the owner: stop being cheap. Your restaurant is severely understaffed. Just hire more staff. The food is ok but definitely not that good for the wait. Delivery guys were crowding at the front desk as well as the diners at the store. Your waitress looked like she was about to cry. Also, there’s only one waitress at dinner time. Just stop being cheap and spend some money to improve the quality.

Ordered takeout for their deluxe sashimi combo. Food was tasty. Pleasantly surprised by the very cute packaging. Forgot to take picture of it before digging in but it was a nice thoughtful touch.

Ordered on Uber eats. Took almost 2 hours to get my order (I live less than 3km away).We’ve ordered from here a few times, and has been good before. However this time they completely forgot an item and their spicy tuna roll was absolutely disgusting - it tastes completely off (like it’s gone bad) and the fish itself has a disgusting rotting grey colour and slimy texture. This is a massive food safety issue. Definitely will not ever be ordering from here again.

Y’all should rename the restaurant to OMG Sushi cuz the price for the portion is insane. Granted the packaging is nice… but it was almost 50 bones for one box of Chirashi don that has the sashimi chopped to teeny bits…. $20 off Uber Eats made it technically $40 including service fee and tax but stillWould not recommend for us working proletariats ?

R Sushi is a fan favourite for team lunches throughout the year because of the convenient location at Yonge/Finch and the high-quality sushi. I recommend getting the torched and pressed sushi for team lunches and Combo A for takeout.

This is the best sushi place in Toronto and they always have the freshest fish! Even their fried rice is amazing!! Highly recommended!
