My experience here could easily be summarized as an over priced waste of an evening.The food that was served to us was very hit and miss ( mostly misses) The calamari lacked salt and tasted frozen.The mussels in white wine were overcooked ro the size / consistency of raisins and underwhelming.The Artic lobster lemon risotto lacked any lobster or seasoning but had all the lemon.They even forgot my 4 year old son's pasta despite constant reminders . They managed to bring it out when everyone else had finished eating. When the coffees for the table were ordered, we asked for a glass of milk for my son. Again they forgot the glass of milk despite reminders and only brought it out when everyone had finished their coffee. I do not know what was worse...the missmanged front of house or the bland cooking in the back of the house.Overall, the dining experience was one I will never be back for. This is likely why the restaurant is empty on a Saturday night.

The new updated decor at Boccaccio is beautiful! We were accommodated in a glassed in private room, eliminating noise from other patrons, as we were a group of twelve Our server Charles was polite, professional, went over and above making sure our requests were fulfilled! We will definitely be going back. Thanks to the chefs who replicated Sunday family lunch! The food was ?delicious!

We celebrated our parents 90th birthday and as Ristorante Boccaccio has been "in the family" for years it made the most sense to celebrate there. It didn't disappoint Giovanna, Luciano Alexander Sofia etc took care of us from the start to end. Food was also delicious and made our special night amazing. Thanks to all and I know I missed thanking people but there were so many!!!

I really love Boccaccio, one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in Toronto. The Braised Lamb and the fried calamari are to die for.If you want to eat Italian because you miss Italy. THIS IS THE PLACE.

Could not wait to try this restaurant. Staff is not well versed in their menu and could not answer simple questions. Asked for a dirty martini dry with 3 olives and the bar was not equipped to make it as we were told they only had sweet vermouth. Asked them to make with lemon instead and it still came out wrong. Can of coke was room temperature and flat. Veal scallopini was nervy and could not taste any marsala. Branzino was dry and when we asked for 4 additional pieces of lemon for it we were brought lemon slices. Enjoyed the veal chop, lamb shank, rapini and Italian salad. When the bill came the veal chop was priced differently than what it was listed on the menu. When we asked the waitstaff they could not answer why this was. We were one of four tables on a Saturday night. Will not be coming back.

My family and I came here to celebrate our aunts 90th birthday and the setup, service, food, and atmosphere was fantastic! I'm giving this place 5 stars because the food reminded me of the way we eat in Italy, it was very authentic, simple and prepared very well! Definitely coming back!
