Sad to see this restaurant completely run down, empty seats at lunch time, use to be busy and inviting. The pad Thai lacked flavour, mushy and super oily!Definitely not the same as a few years ago when I use to frequent this restaurant!

Went for dinner last night. Place was empty. Food wasn't too bad but lacked flavor and the peanut sauce was very odd. When we got the bill we were over charged for an extra rice. That was taken care of but then we were given 2 bills with different totals. Off by like $1.79. Very confusing bills.

Place is freezing inside and the food is not good. The Pad Thai is ketchuppy noodles. The Nasi Goreng is not authentic at all. It's basically egg fried rice. The prices are low but that's part of the reason why the food is so bad.

I usually order from the Bayview location (highly recommend!). Ordered via skip the dishes and 1. Vegetarian oodles of noodles - I was sent just an order of plain, extremely greasy noodles. Having ordered this dish before it usually has tons of veggies (carrots, broccoli, lots of greens!) and isn’t this greasy. 2. Green curry was curdled and looked like it had been microwaved multiple times, veggies were very soggy. Took a couple bites and it was so bland! I hate to leave a bad review because I like the other location but this food was inedible. The also didn’t include any napkins or cutlery (and there is no option to add on skip)

Ordered Uber eats - crispy/spicy beef and rice one person special. I had fond memories of Satay growing up as a great place to eat. This food was barely edible. The beef was so tough and over cooked, it was really hard to get through. The mango salad I added was flavourless and wet. Nothing redeemable and I won’t be returning.

Pad Thai was completely mushy with no flavour. Takeout containers leaked. The only good thing was the price of the meal.
Satay On The Road used to be a spot where we enjoyed going to and getting take out from but in recent time it has gone down hill. Where do I start? Take out was suppose to be picked up in 30 minutes but when we arrived and were told it would be 5-10 minutes more and then continued to be 5-10 minutes for the next half an hour. I understand restaurants can become backed up but give your clients the respect to provide a realistic timeframe. The disappointment continued with the food being bland and the noodles dishes were over cooked. Regrettably they send mix messages about what is coming with the curry dishes, all images in the menu show the curry with rice. This is missleading, you have to order the rice separately. I have never had a Thai curry not come with rice. If you don't supply something with the dish don't show images with it.Overall I am not sure I will be going back here and it looks like others agree.

The food was not good. Pad Thai was a big pile of mushy noodles, way overcooked. manager was good about it and offered to replace. We got the spicy noodles instead which was very oily and lacked flavour. The peanut curry was good. Service was very quick ( though the place was empty on a Saturday evening, that should have been the first red flag). Not authentic Thai and not good.

Everything we ordered tonight was delicious. Good size spring rolls, cashew nut chicken, crispy beef, and shrimp pad thai . It was very hot. Staff very pleasant both on the phone and when we picked up our order..
