Hidden gem. Got it for delivery this afternoon and the preparation was speedy, portions and inclusions were also better than I'd anticipated. Compared to King Kong Tteokbokki, another restaurant I really enjoy for their spicy rice cakes, I believe this place offers on par quality for a much more accommodable price. Definitely worth trying, if it's in your area.Vegetarian options: Reasonable menu selection.

The shop is inside of a convenience store. Food is fresh and tasty. Authentic korean home cooked meals. The lady who cooks is korean and she has created a cheap alternative to usual korean stores.I tried beef bulgogi, corn dogs, dumplings, kimbap, and rice cakes.. Every dish came with traditional korean side dishes. You can order through phone and pick up in about 20 to 30 mins.Prices are very reasonable. The dine in experience might not be great as there are limited tables. Take out is recommended. The packaging for take out is great.

Stay away from this Yorkdale Minimart, the woman behind the counter is unbelievably rude.Yelled at me over a dollar she lost? After failing to explain a lottery winning and trying to sell me additional tickets I didn’t ask for. Then erupted at me and told me to never come back. Horrible interaction.I’m sure the food is decent, I don’t know

Cute little place inside a convenience store. If you want the homemade food vibe and taste, this is the place. Not as adorable as I'd like but pretty good overall. We ordered chicken dumplings (fried), japchae and crab kimbap. Chicken dumplings were ok, the filling was mixed with a lot of tofu so it had that crumbly, creamy tofu texture to it. I wasn't a a big fan but not bad. Japchae was great! Beef was marinated well, great flavour. Pretty standard japchae, nothing bad to say about this one. Crab kimbap was really tasty. They used the Korean roasted seaweed instead of the regular sushi stuff. The pickled stuff was really good too. Definitely had some good fermentation going on. Highly recommended. Overall I think this place is great and if I was craving some Korean food and was in the area, I'd pick some up here. A note that there is seating space in the convenience store to eat but it's still a convenience store. I just got it to go and ate in the car. It is pretty pricey for what you get though. Taking probe into account, if probably bring it down to 3 stars but not going to hold it against them in this review.

A truly hidden gem for Jorean eats in the west end; the owner is very proud of her work and it definitely reflects on the quality of the food! The crab Kimbap is a must try

I did not expect this restaurant to be a combination of a convenience store and a restaurant. However, the gentle demeanour and kindness of the lady who assisted us were just the start of a lovely time. She was in charge of preparing our meals: bulgogi and kimbap-which I had been craving for the longest time. Everything came in a casual but still very appetizing presentation. It wasn't until we tried our food that the experience took a turn for the good. Everything was amazing! My craving for kimbap was entirely fulfilled after dipping every roll in spicy mayo or honey sweet mustard. The Bulgogi was delicious as well. The meat was soft and flavourful and a side of pickled radish and kimchi were the perfect addition! We will definitely come back and try many more dishes this little hidden gem has to offer. So, I suggest you don't let the visual of the place fool you, the food and attention were what made our experience memorable.(I forgot to take pictures because I was too busy eating LOL)

Enjoy amazing corn dogs and dumplings at Suhan Dumplings! Run by a sweet old Korean lady, this hidden gem is located inside of a convenience store which she also runs The corn dogs are delicious, the outer shells are crispy and crunchy. The japchae is amazing - I get it every time I go. Highly recommend!

Payed $30 for two orders of dumplings on Uber Eats (I know that they inflate the prices but I even have premium, it's a LOT for dumplings). They were dryer than sand! I ate them because I was starving, but it felt like doing an easier version of the cinnamon challenge. The included vinegar was fine but didn't help. Almost as bad; I'm still hungry! The chicken AND beef were like a fine powder, devoid of any other noticeable mix-ins like vegetables, and almost completely dry, like eating a bag of meat-based protein powder. Please save yourself money and a test of willpower, you'd be better off just eating a couple tablespoons of whey powder.I really hope it was just a mistake.

What a delicious surprise! Ordered to my office from UberEats while looking for good ramen on a rainy day, ended up ordering the spicy rice cake dish and the suhan corn dog. Both extremely tasty. I was worried it would not be enough food from the picture but it's definitely at least two meals. Amazing flavours, will definitely be ordering again. Must try if you're in the area.

If you are looking for fancy restaurants, don’t go here. But if you are looking for genuine Korean food at a homely environment, you must check this place out. It’s inside a convenience store with 5 small tables and 9 chairs. The food will be made to order. The owner is a lovely woman, cooks the food on her own. Comparatively cheaper than the other fancy Korean restaurants out there. Parking is at the back of the store. We loved the food here. We are going back soon!

This restaurant is located at the back of a convenience store, the tables are placed in the middle of the store and people walk all around you while you eat very strange…..The food, I ordered fried dumplings and I heard the microwave, they were clearly frozen and not fresh, and did not taste good I would not recommend this place to anyone…FYI they also do not take credit card.

3.5 starsI ordered the beef bibimbap and 1/2 mozzarella 1/2 beef sausage corn dog on Uber Eats. The corn dog was insanely crispy and delicious—so much better than the popular Chungchun corn dogs. The bibimbap was decent, however I wish there was more beef. I also found a long hair in the rice which was off-putting. I would order corn dogs here again but not the bibimbap.
