Cute dumpling shop to stock up for frozen dimsum foods. Sadly I don't have photos but we got frozen soup dumplings, they were indeed soupy and delicious.

I visited this place for the first time and loved everything I bought (soup buns and dumplings). The skin of the soup buns were so thin and silky, and once steamed, SO GOOD. We fried the dumplings and they too were filled with soup. I would highly recommend getting multiple bags!!

Absolutely excellent frozen dumplings that cook easily at home. As good as--or better than--dumplings at restaurants, including Northern Dumpling House (my favourite). Reasonable prices and good service.

I haven’t had too many frozen soup dumplings that hold up, but these are great and super tasty! Also tried the pork & leek and beef & cabbage but the soup dumplings were our fav. Will definitely be keeping a steady freezer stash.

We tried the pork&cabbage and the pork&leek&shrimp dumplings. Tasted very authentic and delicious, straight like the ones I had in Beijing, and the lady was nice when taking our order. I believe it's cash only so make sure you come prepared!

3 stars for the dumpling, minus 1 = 2 stars considering the price ($23 for 50 dumplings). i just returned to Canada and has tried many different kinds of dumplings over the past few months. for this price and popularity i was imaging something like homemade/restaurant level dumplings. but it is just like budget ($10 for 50) frozen dumplings from chi groceries stores: (i) skin and ingredient not stale but not fresh, (ii) above average salty....

Overall, expected better for the price and based on the reviews. The prices have increased a lot and I actually make better dumplings at home. They’re good, but some frozen ones at Chinese grocery stores are about the same quality and taste and better value. They also stopped doing hot meat buns, and the meat buns themselves are also average. I’ve had much better in Chinatown down at Spadina. If you were deciding whether or not to make the trip out here specifically to try it out, I wouldn’t say it’s worth it.

There are grocery store frozen dumplings and there are specialty store frozen dumplings. I admit I am a die hard grocery store dumplings lover. Who doesn't love $6 for 30 dumplings? But they have limits, such as wrapping not thin enough, the meat a bit loose. But all is good when it is 20 cents each. In coming the needs for good dumplings - the need to impress someone. I shopped and shopped 5, 6, 7 specialty stores, even buying from dumplings restaurants. And I decided The Dumplings Shop has the best quality and best bang for the buck dumplings. The type that I would pay 50 cents each. The dumplings here are big, filled with meat. Good meat to leek ratio. 6 dumplings can be a lunch. Wrapping is not as thin as fresh dumplings from a sit down dumplings place, but hey these are frozen stuffs, so it is a compromise between thin wrapping and convenience.

Juicy dumplings! $9 / 20 pcs. Got the frozen ones, 15 mins later in our steamer, and tastes exactly like the restaurants. So good for a great price.

The best dumplings in Toronto. Cash only. It's as close as one will get to the dumplings you get in Asia. Haven't found anything else that's close to that quality yet.

This place has the best Soup dumplings ever! We usually stock up as we don't come up to the area that often. They also have amazing pot stickers and delicious steamed pork and vegetable buns (only available Fri and Sat). There is one super friendly lady who helps us occasionally. Thanks to Jen Agg who recommend this place through her Instagram stories.

This is a takeout place, but their sticky rice is so good, both the sweet ones (red bean paste) and meat ones. I have tried their different types of dumplings before and would definitely recommend.

Very authentic shanghainese food, definitely the best soup dumplings I’ve had in Toronto!
