amazing & authentic caribbean food! i rexently ordered some catering for our office. jerk chixken has a nice spicy kick, juicy & full of flavour. rice and peas - nocely cooked, cant mess that up. bbq chicken was a crowd favourite - chkn was juicy, flavours so intense but not overpowering. we also had their housemade coleslaw, curry chickpeas, and callaloo. for thise who dont know what callaloo is - its a jamaican style spinnach stew or sauteed spinnach. so delicious, i cannot believe ive skipped this dish every time ive ever came across it! overall, food is always great! cooked w.love & you can definitely taste it!

I've recently ordered from the Islands through there catering service and it was quick and easy. The food was divered to my home within the exact 15 mins window I chose. The food was still hot and fresh. I'd recommend there Stew Chicken, and BBQ chicken, the salad was very fresh. Overall I was very happy and would highly recommend the Islands Caribbean Cookshop.

So yummy, they have guilty pleasure options (love the fried chicken!) and also healthy veggie options, and the staff are usually really good (though it get's a little hectic in there sometimes because its so busy). Highly recommend!

I had this tonight for dinner after hemming and hawing for literally years lol. I wish i tried them sooner.I ordered the small mixed? Chicken meal and tried their fried chicken and jerk chicken. I got plain rice with chicken curry gravy and a side salad.The fried chicken was great! So well seasoned and delicious. Nice crunchy skin too! The jerk chicken was beautiful. It was smoky and well seasoned too. I am in love.Everything was flavorful and delicious. Next time, i need to try their house made scotch bonnet pepper sauce and oxtail!The portions are big. I had leftovers!The server was really friendly and helpful. Its shocking to me that small businesses now charge less than fast food. ?If u guys r ever in the neighborhood, they r right next to popeyes. Eat here instead!!

Spent $44 on two meals, the stew chicken tasted like ketchup and was overwhelmingly sweet, and the oxtail had nice texture but bland in flavour. They also gave way too much gravy, so the rice was soupy. We don’t like wasting so we tried to eat but could only manage a few bites before deciding to just throw it out, so that’s $44 wasted. Today was my first time at this restaurant and they did not disappoint! I had the oxtail with plain, white rice and a side of coleslaw. It had been a while since I had oxtail and this is the best tasting oxtail I've had in a VERY long time.Please don't change cooks and keep up the GREAT work!p.s. I thought it was a one-off experience, so I went back the following day and the oxtail was just a delicious as the day before. I think I've found my new spot for GREAT oxtail.

I ended up getting the 3 piece jerk chicken meal which includes a choice of salad or coleslaw (I picked the coleslaw). The quality is there in terms of taste, but the portion for the price paid for the food isn't worth it. It's not the first time I have been here either. For $15.40 and barel any rice & peas. Not worth it at all. Will not recommend this place to anyone in terms of bang for your buck. Disappointed and will not be going back here again. Better off going to Allwyn's.

Service was not the greatest. Cashier was standoffish for no reason. Portion size was not good. They would half fill a box. Chicken was dry and so was the rice if not for the gravy saving it. Maybe I came at a bad time around 6

I've tried many different places for Caribbean food; this place was alright. The oxtail was still kind of tough, the stew chicken lacked flavor and the white rice was mush. To be honest, the only flavorful item that I had purchased, was the rice and peas.
