The food is delicious and reminded me of when I was living in Japan, when they give you so many little side dishes with your main dish. I got the mackerel bento (in the $31 4 course dinner meal) and it was so good, although I didn't realize it would have so many bones so it was a bit inconvenient to eat. Definitely recommend this place, for the food, vibes (lots of good edm on the sound system), and service. And for the price, it's so worth it. Most of the entrees were $15 or less!

Fantastic dining experience with fast, friendly service. The chicken bento and Earl Grey highball were standouts, and the cozy ambiance added to the enjoyment. The convenience of iPad ordering at the table was a plus. Can't wait to try the dinner menu next time. Highly recommend!

Our group of four really enjoyed everything we had, and the staff was greatWheelchair accessibility: Entrance is accessible and the washroom is on the main floor as well
Service was quick, friendly and professional. We had the delightful booth seating with Japanese fabric prints on either side which was a bonus. We went during a weekday, mid afternoon so it was easy to get a good table.I had the bento box with saba mackerel which was delicious. I opted not to get the rice but the bento box usually comes with rice. They also had a decent serving of 3 good sized karaage as a side dish.I ordered another small side dish of karaage and it had more piece than I expected and they were good sized too, for $9.99. They were perfectly crunchy and flavourful. The natto side dish was only at $3,95 with a raw egg. You can order it without the egg if you prefer. They have a lot of good choices on the menu which means I will have to return and try the rest!

Their bento boxes are definitely worth it! Filled with authentic Japanese ingredients and a wide selection of alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages. It’s best to make a reservation if you plan on going for dinner.

Friendly service. The menu expands at night when it switches to an izakaya and offers a wide variety of tapas. Ordering was done through a screen and food came quickly. Bentos are commonly ordered with many choices for proteins.
Exceptional food not offered in other Japanese restaurant. It was quite at the later afternoon we were there. Service was very good, very comfortable having our meal. Will invite our friends to go again. Thanks.

Go for $20 Winterlicious prix fixe lunch until 5pm if you want a great deal, chill vibe and good food and portions. A rarity in this city.Very good takoyaki and great soju cocktails (get the ramune or mango sour for something refreshing!)There's a bell on each table for service and everything is done on the tablet.Parking: Green P Lot 403 is a 30 second walk away!(Green P funds city recreation, like free skate or summer pools!)
Nice place to get some food with an intimate atmosphere. Food came out at a reasonable time and was delicious, would recommend especially for a late night trip.
