My falafel (twenty pieces per my order) were delicious -- light, not greasy, and filling. (The free toppings were also just right.) Hubby went ga-ga for his butternut squash soup, as well. Terrific fresh pita!

Just tried UF for the first time. All the food was absolutely on point. The flavors were spot on and delicious. The gentleman that helped us out was warm, welcoming, and helpful. We will be returning and recommend to all that are looking for tasty Israeli style fare.

This stretch of Sheppard has needed a great falafel place for some time and Urban Falafel delivers! A very tasty and crunchy falafel that isn’t super heavy, with a very nice spread of fresh salads and toppings to make it delicious. I appreciate how they build the falafel so that every bite gets a ton of flavour. The staff were friendly and courteous and the place itself is clean and welcoming. I’m very tempted to try the humus falafel bowl next time I come!

1. ORDER. Ordered online using their website. Received text msg that I would be notified by text when my order was ready. I showed up at the restaurant and waited outside for 1/2 hour waiting for my text. Never came. So I finally went inside where they apologized and told me their system didn't alert them to my order. But when they checked my order was in their system. I then had to wait another 15 minutes while they served instore customers. I had no problem with that but was frustrated by the total delay as I had kids waiting for dinner.2. FOOD. I want to see every business succeed, but honestly their falafel sandwiches were not very exciting or tasty compared to many others that I have had. My adult son agreed. Their salads I did like.CONCLUSION. They are in the neighbourhood, but sadly I will not order from them again.

Just came across this restaurant today. Stopped by to try a falafel sandwich which I highly recommend. I have never tasted a falafel like this before. I have tried falafel in so many different resteraunts before but urban falafel Is most definitely the best tasting falafel. Rate 10 stars if I could.The staff was very friendly as well. From the moment I walked in and placed my order to the gentleman preparing my falafel sandwich, he was incredibly kind and friendly. I guarantee even if you never liked falafel, this resteraunt will change your view on falafel. Highly highly recommend!!

They are sloppy and mix all their toppings and therefore cannot accommodate allergies. Refuse to go to back to bring out items that haven't been cross contaminated. Told me they are out of cucumbers, bs, they are just lazy. No pita shop is ever out of cucumbers. Please use seperate tongs so you can start to accommodate allergies.

Thank you Urban Falafel for allowing me to experience how the flavors of each ingrediant meld together within the pita to form a volcanic explosion of unbelievable taste. The falafel are crispy on the outside and delightfully flavorful on the inside. A huge selection of quality, fresh and tasty veggie based items generously stuffed into the pita. Hey, these are the best of the best Falafels but it does not end with the Falafels. Urban Falafel also serves up some of the most delicious fries on the planet. The food is unbelievable and the service - well - everything is done with a smile and I always feel like the secret ingrediant is the love that goes into each Falafel !

I saw the Urban Falafel as I was driving through the neighborhood taking a shortcut to avoid traffic on Alen Road. I decided to give it a try as falafels are one of my preferred take out foods. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of salad choices to accompany the delicious freshly made falafels. This is one place I will be frequenting more often.

Had the falafel platter and it was delicious. The salad plate was loaded so high, we weren’t sure how the package was going to close. Tasty falafel balls. Pitas aren’t made by them, but were good as well. Will recommend to everyone.
