Family run with amazing pastries. Try ‘brinzoaica’ it’s so rich with cheese and so delicious. Everything I’ve tried is fresh, warm out of the oven and great quality. I drive from Burlington and it’s worth it. Lovely people too. I wish I had discovered this shop earlier. Very authentic.

Coffee was good, service was good, the staff was doing their best to serve the customers. But the cakes, Mamma mia what a disaster. Weird taste, tasted like they have been here for 2 weeks or so. I don’t know what’s wrong, maybe the ingredients used are outdated/expired or bad quality. It reminded me of those bad cakes from the 80s.It’s a pity because I love Italian pastries and they tasted awful. The place, poor taste and not inviting, they could have created a cosy pretty interior so people can sit.Quite disappointed.

Worst coffee ever in my life that I had to leave it there. Ordered cappuccino and I thought nothing can go wrong with this, my friend ordered simple Americano which was simply diluted coffee. We ordered a pastry and it was soggy and drowned in syrup. Place itself is very cozy and cute but they really need to improve the food quality.

Stopped in for an unplanned beverage and a snack and totally lucked out. What a great place! The fruit pavlova was absolutely amazing, and so was the iced cappuccino. Looking forward to going back to try more.

Casa Romana Sweet is a hidden gem! Their wide range of pastries and baked goods, including gluten-free options, is simply delightful. We tried their cheesecake, Delia, pistachio cake, and a walnut-filled cake (forgot the name, my bad), and each treat was fresh, tasty, and truly unforgettable. The staff at Casa Romana Sweet were incredibly friendly and attentive, reflecting the warm family atmosphere of this charming bakery. Highly recommend giving them a visit for a delightful experience that will leave your taste buds satisfied!

Everything is completely overpriced and food isn’t even that good. As a Romanian this is not how much our traditional food should be costing anywhere. Also the service is super sloppy they always forget to pack something every time I go. ALSO they’re only open Friday’s and Saturday’s like are you kidding me. What type of food business do you guys think you’ll run if you’re only open two days a week. Not customer centric, total business centric.
Very friendly staff, desert are good, I hope they get an A/C unit for their employees in the back store as they seemed to feel it was too hot out

Great local bakery and cafe, delicious desserts and bread, love it. Top quality coffee and creeps at least they were before lockdowns.4 stars because of the working hours still only 2 days a week! Come on guys, please get back to your normal schedule before COVID!

Casa Romana has the best Olive Bread in the GTA! The cafe is quite lovely for coffee and desserts. Everything is East European and hand made. The decor is nice and very clean. Most of the selections are for takeout as it's primarily a bakery.
