Originally, our order was wrong because there was a problem with their online food order site (Don’t order from the “Hungry Panda” order platform if you’re ordering through google) and unfortunately the picture was very misleading and was nothing like the actual order we received initially.We ordered one of the party trays and after taking it home and realizing it was wrong, we had to drive back 15 minutes to ask them to change it or at least give us a refund. The owners were so nice and understanding and were kind enough to change it for us at no extra cost. Food quality was very good also!

Food was ok, nothing great but it gets the job done. Advertising is misleading, both online and on the storefront it claims to be all you can eat, but when I went in with someone else they claimed to not do All you can eat. The staff were kind though.

My girlfriend and I ordered takeout from here the other night and we have to say, this was some of the best sushi we’ve eaten. Spicy tuna roll was so fresh and their prices can’t be beat. This is definitely our new go-to sushi spot.

I had placed a sushi platter for pick up. When i called 1 hour ahead as I knew it would take some time to prepare, I told the lady I am highly allergic to avocados. When i went to pick up and got back to my car, I figured let me check to see if there are avocados in it. Unfortunately, there was avocado in all of the sushi that was in the platter. I then had to go back inside. The lady who took my order was the exact same person who I spoke to in regards to avocado being in the sushi she apologized and offered to make a new platter. I then sat there and witnessed her taking out the sushi and trying to take out the avocado with her BARE HANDS before putting it back in the same platter that was being given back to me. After seeing that happened, I now know to never ever order from here again.

Mika Sushi is a wonderful boutique restaurant to enjoy a moment with family or just a me-moment. The food is delightful. Chef Joe’s attention to tradition, colour, texture, taste, look, and the freshest of ingredients make the experience memorable. Mika Sushi has a nice atmosphere with soft tasteful music, a convenient ordering counter, nice lighting, and a friendly atmosphere. My crab and mango salad was exquisite with delicate tastes. The torched salmon sushi was a revelation in taste and texture. The avocado sushi was buttery amd colourful. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back.Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options, such as the vegetable tempura.Kid-friendliness: My son loved the avocado sushi.

the last time we will order from this restaurant. ripped off with a salad made up and 4 rotting and wilted lettuce leaves, ripped off with a container of salad dressing with a few drops, ripped off with a container of rice filled to only 1/3 if that. I wish i had taken a picture of the 'miso soup' it was a black tar like fluid that i quickly poured down the drain so now one got sick.

$40 for 1 person. Including 1 roll and 1 set (19 pcs). This place is on the expensive side. But that's not the issue.Although the size of the roll is smaller than usual. The chef here made a conscious decision to use bigger cuts of fish, in the roll and sushi as well. I really appreciate that. I don't have problem with less rice, but I do have a problem with the quality of the rice. Its just mediocre. Like your white room mate making rice for the first time.The portion of Miso soup is also very generous but hardly has any sea weed in it and has NO tofu in it. It tasted incomplete and strange (was spicy miso).In the end, my biggest problem with this joint is inconsistency. Some bites were stellar, the others made me want to gag. Honestly, it is 50/50. I am very seriously unsure on the quality of produce used, the poor craftsmanship (rice) and the questionable decision making (lack of tofu in miso, also its spicy miso). But I appreciate the generous cuts. I wonder if this place has management issues. I can't help but wonder how some bites can taste so damn good but others taste like rubber dipped in arsenic.
