Great ambience and place to catch up with friends.For non red meat eaters like me, Some must try items are the Kapow Shrimp, Buttermilk fried chicken and the Lobster mash. All their drinks are amazing too, especially the Long Island iced tea.

We had mike as our waiter this evening, he was very attentive, helped us out with our dinner choices, was very quick with drinks, and checked on us many times to make sure there were no issues with the food, amazing staff!

Not sure what’s going on with all the montanas but the last 2 years have been hard on them. They don’t have any experienced cooks and the food has gone down hill because of this. I have Tried now 4 different locations in the past month and none taste the same like in the past. Please Montanas pay a good cook. You might win back some customers. Otherwise it was okay while it lasted and I will be forced to stop attending your restaurants.

i came to this montanas about a week or so ago and this young lady served me, if i’m not mistaken she said her name was Jewel! let me just start off by saying one of the best waitresses i had in a very long time. she was very friendly and patience. when my wife asked her what she’d recommend she was honest and even named all the sides for us. To top it off the food was wonderful and came out pretty quick even though it was quite busy. i will most definitely be back and i’ll be asking for Jewel again!

Closed 2 hours early ; charged for a takeout order that was never made. The montanas app, montanas website and google say the restaurant is open until 12am. I place an order around 10:30pm and went to pick up 10:50pm. The restaurant is closed, with lights out. An employee just happened to come out and say that they are closed at 10pm and there wasn’t anything she could do about my order. What about my money??? My credit card was charged. She said she has no idea how to fix it.Definitely don’t trust this location, smells fishy. Closing before they’re suppose to.If they are in fact closing earlier, they need to update their own Montanas app so that takeout orders aren’t accepted when they’re closed!!!

The place wasn't busy when we went last Sunday, Oct. 15. It was quiet, and the food was delicious. We overload garlic bread, which was so good. My husband loved his Candian ?, while I had the honking beef rib. So soft, succulent, and very tasty. Our server, though I forgot his name, was very polite and friendly.

Hello. I wanted to write a review about my experience at Montana’s at the burloak location. Unfortunately it was not pleasant. We arrived at 7pm. We were sat down at a table. We did not get greeted at the table until 7:20pm. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. 38 minutes later we received our drinks but not our appetizers. We had to ask the server about it. She then brought the appetizer. 2 minutes after she brought the appetizer, our main dishes came out! My husband ordered well done steak and they gave him medium rare. He also asked for a baked potato and they gave him fries instead. My son ordered a medium rare steak and it was so dry! We asked about the baked potato and the server said she’d bring it over. She came back and said they gave out the last one. My husband asked to speak with the manager. The server came back with a baked potato!! We were so confused. Once the manager came over- she just said sorry of situation. She only wanted to discount 1 plate! !!!Another family saw and heard the situation and got up and left as they were waiting 20 minutes to be served.it wasn’t one mistake to many!!!Overall it was a poor experience and we were extremely disappointed,

My partner and I finished our movie and wanted to go out for dinner. We had three choices as they were all in the same complex: Montannas, Kelsey’s and Moxies. We ended up choosing montannas thinking we could get some great ribs. Our whole experience was horrendous. First of all when we got in - no one was at the front to greet us and help us to a table - we had to go into the restaurant to ask someone to seat us!!!! Never heard of this!!!! Then the host that sat us had an attitude as though we interrupted them and they were forced to seat us. Then we had a long wait - we patiently waited for 20 minutes for anyone to come and see us - since no one came we once again had to go searching for someone to take our order. When my partner confronted the waitress she noted in a frustrated manner that she was on her way when in reality this was not the case. Then once our order was placed it took another 20 minutes for them to at least bring us our water!!!!! Then 30 minutes later our food arrived - the salad had wilted brown lettuce on it - the ribs tasted dried out and not moist and juicy at all. The cornbread was so dry I nearly chocked. It made me feel as though this food was sitting around then they cooked it and let it sit for a long while before they served it to us!!! Then once again I had to search down the waitress to ask for my bill which again I was given an attitude as though I interrupted whatever important activity she was engaged in which by the fact that the restaurant was near empty not sure what is more important than supporting the two customers who are there!!!! Finally no one thanked us for coming or anything. My partner had been to montannas before - this was my first time! Based on this experience I never want to go back again!!! Some kind of big miracle would have to happen for me to return!!!! Terrible experience.

Came here on Monday for the 1/2 Wings specials. The wings were fantastic, and the server Sue incredible. She was super friendly and suggested bbq flavours we hadn't tried before, which turned out to be amazing (e.g. Chipotle Apple Butter). It's our new go-to place for wings.

The restaurant was not busy. It was 10 minutes before we were approached for a drink order. The food was cold when we got it and the steak was overcooked and dry. We are very big fans of Montana's restaurants but will not be returning to this location.

Montanas has always been one of our favourite restaurants. Last night we came there for dinner. After waiting what seemed like a long time at the door, we were finally seated. As we waited for our server to order, we noticed that the restaurant wasn’t that busy and numerous tables in our section were not cleaned up. We waited approximately 25 minutes and not a single server came by to ask for our food or drink orders. We decided to leave at that point. Normally we enjoy our experience at Montanas, but this was quite unusual for us. We can only presume they were short staffed, but that is just a guess.

My fam and I went Sept 19 night. They were short staffed and new. But the kids worked hard to get food out to us and everyone else. We were patient because well, I used to be there myself. Why do you Burlington folks feel so elitist/ priveledged to complain about the service by young hard working kids? Try running around and stepping in their shoes for a change. It's not easy. 5stars for effort. Keep working hard kids and remember..mark the tables # with a crayon to help remember what tables are what--- #respect @edcabral

7-up is nice and sweet not 7-down!EDIT: I originally posted this review before the food ever arrived based off a joke my friend made. But it'd be regrettable to leave a 5 star review up when it wasn't close to 5 stars.The food and atmosphere are fine, I had no issues with it. However the service was among the worst I've ever had. For mine and a friend's order, the chicken sandwiches we ordered were not tossed in the hot sauce which we asked for. No biggie on its own. But our other friends, who ordered chicken tacos sans onions, had a bunch of onions all over the tacos. When they asked to have them removed, it was obvious that there was a poor job performed by another server to remove the onions from the dish. I don't think it's unreasonable to try to pick off all the onions from an already made dish, but the onions were clearly not all picked off. My other friend also got ribs that were cold.This is on top of already slow service. It took several minutes between sitting and getting a drink order in, then another several to get the drinks (all sodas and water), and then another long wait for the food, which as mentioned above, was not even made properly on the first go. There were very few people in the restaurant as well, so I wouldn't chalk this up to being a very busy and hectic night.In short, go to Kelsey's instead.

The salad portion was too small. For $18 it should be filling. Not enough salad, not enough topping but enough chicken. Taste was wonderful but just not enough for what you pay for. Service was good.
