Didn't have multiple menu items. Unable to make a hamburger, Ruben or onion rings.Is not a pub by any means, the exterior does not represent what's inside. We were the only people there, many came in, waited for service or had a look around and left. Wish we did the same. Actually saw the chef go to the restaurant next door and ran back with something covered carefully in his hands. Didnt even get our drink order right (two waters and an icetea), was brought a diet coke. There was no other customersMemphis burger was very small, no flavor and disappointing. French fries were McDonald's fries.

A new spot in Oakville that just recently opened up! Here, you can enjoy delicious dishes while you take in the retro glam vibes of the restaurant! We came in for brunch and were impressed! The food was fresh and plated nicely. You must try their Avocado toast…so good!

The food was good and the service was amazing. Unfortunately the manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful to just about everyone in the bar. I will not be returning.

I came to Toronto from the Caribbean (Trinidad and Tobago) on vacation and I found the establishment via Open Table. The bartender Maha actually made the entire experience for me and I’ve been telling everyone about the Stout Monk ever since. Maha was friendly, knew the menu like she memorized it lol, made me feel super comfortable and she makes the best Shirley Temple in Canada. Amazing person and amazing establishment.
Once I got talking to the bartender we enjoyed great conversation and she answered all questions. I have not had the privilege of enjoying a meal as of yet but surely plan to the wings smelled great. Overall the atmosphere was welcoming, and enjoyable. As a previous bartender in the night seen I see major potential here.

Have been visiting this place for a while. Change in management has let this place become pathetic. One person at our table ordered two drinks and got a $50 tab handed to her. Upon confronting management, they said it was a mistake and muttered about a display bottle in broken English. They offered to refund the overcharge, which we replied we simply won’t be coming back.

This weekend I had come up from Brooklyn, NY to see some family in Toronto, and we stumbled upon this gem. The food was great and delicious, but those drinks…10/10. Me and my family were very annoying (if I’m honest) but the staff were so friendly especially the bartender I think her name was Maha. She was so attentive, friendly, helpful and polite. She helped us out and we had an amazing time at this spot. We will be coming back for sure and Maha you have friends and fans here brooklyn!Parking: The parking makes it easy

It was a bit loud, they got my order wrong, the food was the same you'll find in other bars.The decor was fabulous though, a nice modern aesthetic that was also reminiscent of a slightly older time. I enjoyed my time there. 5 stars
