I used to come here all the time about 10 years ago. Wow it’s lost some quality. $110 for two people and we drank water. Sushi is decent, fried dishes were overdone with batter and minimal meat. Sashimi pieces are tiny tiny. I would just order a roll or two off the menu if I come back again

This restaurant has seriously gone down hill.... the food is no longer fresh, and the service is ridiculous. My wife and I went to eat on Saturday, looking forward to having sushi. After being sat.... we were ignored for 22 minutes!!!.... people who came in after us were served and we were ignored..... we ended up walking out and going across the mall to the great Thai restaurant......I would avoid at all cost!!

The food i received from this restaurant was truly the best sushi I've had in ages. Everything was perfect and so delicious, the tempura shrimp sent my soul to heaven (and came right back to write this review) and the dumplings tasted sooooo good I shed a single tear of pure joy after the first bite. Highly recommend, will be dreaming of sushi kaika for the rest of the month

Had the AYCE and pick up multiple times and it is always fantastic. The sushi is absolutely delicious. Our go to place for sushi in Orangeville. The restaurant itself is pleasant for a nice evening and service is good and fast.

Over priced grocery store quality sushi.Tonight was our 3rd and last attempt at trying this place. Here's how our experience goes, every time. They bring us room temperature tap water, in plastic cups, half full, no straws or ice. The orders they do remember to bring out are always cold and skimpy portions. The server will never check on you, to see how you're doing and if you need anything. Only time you will see them is when they're bringing your awful food or someone else's order by accident.Service is as bad as the food. Our stomachs felt awful after. Real shame, cause we love sushi, and this is sadly the only place in town. From now on we'll make the drive to the sushi places we know are good.

If I could rate this place 0 stars trust me I would… I am a sushi lover die hard raw sushi fan I love it.. but this place is trash.. I took one bite and spit it out.. it’s not fresh it has a very fishy smell and taste.. the rice had very little flavour it’s so bad!! I have celiac therefor I cannot have gluten (the tempura) so I asked kindly if they could make sure my sushi didn’t contain any tempura and the attitude I received from the owner was disgusting.. rolled his eyes at me and was very dismissive.. anyways I couldn’t feed this fish to my dog.. or a damn raccoon LOL sorry not sorry

We are in the area and been searching for an Asian restaurant, and we chose Sushi Kaika, and we don't regret coming here. We enjoyed the food and chose what we wanted. We had 1 piece of everything and re ordered the most that we wanted, we filled our tummy and can't order dessert. I was surprised with sesame chicken coz it was cooked nice, it was crunchy and soft and not very sweet. Eat all you can and dine in, money worth it as well. Would love to go back and highly recommended.

The food is decent, however after paying $45 a person you are not aloud to remove cucumber from a roll without an additional charge. I was also mildly disappointed by the owner, whom is very rude.I have never not left a gratuity after dining out, and sometimes do that with cash regardless of how I pay for the meal. Immediately after the owner saw there was no tip on the credit machine he asked “did you not like the servers, so didn’t leave a tip”. Interesting comment as tipping is not mandatory, and you have no clue if a cash tip was on route. I would certainly work on customer service.

They serve uncooked chicken ! Showed the manager the chicken is uncooked and instead of him apologizing and giving a fresh order he stated the chicken was marinated and that it was cooked. That’s a lie it was uncooked and the chicken smelled old ! If you order or eat here don’t order the fried chicken !
