Was in Oshawa house hunting and got hungry. Found this food truck with very little reviews and decided to give it a try. As I was pulling in, I saw a lot delivery drivers coming in to pick up orders so that was a good sign. My wife and I decided to try three items as we didn't have breakfast.l and wanted to try a variety. Sorry didn't take photos and there was a good reason. Placed our order and waited for about 8 minutes. Super friendly staff and they explained everything. As we waited we saw a lot of cars coming by to pick up their food. Now onto the actual food review 1. The kofta burger If you've had kofta before at a middle eastern restaurant then it's a delicious pattty seasoned with parsley, garlic and other sublte spices. Nothing too spicy so easy for those flavourlly challenged. It was topped with a salad and a garlic sauce and was super juicy and fresh. 10/10 would recommend. 2. Koshary This was something new for me. It was a delicious carb overload of lentils rice and pasta, topped with caramelized onions and a tomato sauce. I know it sounds weird but it was seasoned perfectly and piping hot. Also would recommend. 3. Messy fries This was the ideal compliment to the burger as it had all the toppings of a burger (mayonnaise, mustard, toamtoes, lettuce, cucumber ketchup). Basically a burger without the meat. If you're gonna get a burger an excellent pairing. Covid note, as of writing this they weren't allowed to let anyone use their outdoor picnic benches. Owners were understandably frustrated but were hopeful about things getting better. Thankfully we had our folding lawn chairs in our trunk from a picnic and setup our chairs in the shade. Please support local businesses. Amazing food, friendly service and good vibes.

Super fresh, very fast and everything is tasty. The Kofta burger is wonderful (but messy...but worth it!) and the koshary is a bowl of happy, carbtacular comfort food. I'd never had Bitterballen before and those little fried balls of goodness are amazing!

Amazing food, fast and friendly service! Emily and her Dad are delightful and always smiling. Batoota’s is in regular rotation with our family. The beef dip sandwich, bitterballen and stroopwafel are favourites at our house!

Not your run of the mill food truck for sure. Everything I’ve had was beyond delicious. Can’t wait till they open again in the spring. Smoked brisket at the top of my list!!

First of all I have to say thank you to the I’m assuming owner. Such a nice man. He came out and checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. EXCELLENT SERVICE!! The food was great! I can honestly say I have never had a burger quite like the Kofta burger. Beautiful presentation, it tasted great, the texture of both the bun and the burger were amazing, the ingredients were super fresh and well balanced. Most importantly it was unlike any other burger I’ve tasted. So thank you so much for the new experience. I will definitely be going back!

Stumbled upon this food truck randomly and am so happy we did. While they have your typical poutine they also have selection of Egyptian and Dutch dishes as well. The Koshary is spicy and delicious with an interesting blend of rice, lentils, tomato, chickpeas and macaroni. The flavour was amazing and it was great the next day as leftovers the next day (portions were pretty big). We also ordered their poutine and were blown away by how crisp the fries were and how savoury the gravy was. We spoke with the owner who was very nice and even made us a falafel each to try when we inquired about the difference between Egyptian falafel (made with fava beans) and Lebanese falafel. I wish we lived closer so we could go on a regular basis - they have a decent sized menu and there are a few other things I really want to try. Next time I'm in the area I know I'll be dropping by!

Very disappointed. Our usual chip truck was closed so we thought we would try somewhere new. Ordered the family size fries. More expensive, less fries and soggy and limp.
