Funny as I come out at night to get some food for my 40 week pregnant wife who is craving Greek. I look online and at 8 o’clock the restaurants where I live are closed. So this restaurant Gyro Bar! Said open on Goggle till 10 PM. I drive up I see the restaurant is closed nothing on the door that says there is an emergency or anything just all the lights off at 847 pm.

This detestable establishment will be closed by year's end. Not sure why they even operate to begin with when customers are greeted with nothing but disrespect, second-rate food and even volatile employees. The gall of someone trying to buy food from you. How dare they waste your time when you're so busy... doing what? Who knows.

If I could rate 0 stars for customer service I would.Had a very unfortunate and shocking experience tonight at Gyro Bar in the Kingsway Plaza in Oshawa. We like to support local and hubby had had food from here before through work and said it was really good.We ordered takeout over the phone from their website & when we went to get our food, the prices were inflated. When we tried to talk to the server, and the owner on the phone, to get them to honour their website price as it is false advertising , the owner said they didn't have a website and refused, and then hung up on my husband, who was not being rude only stern to get his point across. The server was continuously belligerent, came out to our vehicle, told us to never come back and then smeared sauce on our windshield! We have never been treated this way. I also have photos of said website, menu and what was done to our car.From what I have heard since from friends amd reviews, we are not the only customers that have had a similar experienceWe will not go back and will go back to our other favourite Greek Restaurant in Bowmanville.

If I could give a 0 I would. Head office needs to get this franchise location under control. That's all I will say.Please don't enter this facility, you risk being assaulted by staff with sauce.Disgusting.

The most miserable person I've ever come across served me. This young blonde girl looked like she hated her life. She didn't make eye contact but managed to roll her eyes at everything I said. When asked if she was having a bad day, she started talking back to me and yelled after me as I left. People like this should be fired.. this behavior is unacceptable. The way she talked to me is a good indication that she doesn't care about her job or only has one due to nepotism. I will never spend a dime here again. She needs to be fired. And having airpods in your ear while serving food should be a health violation.

I have never been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant before..I was ordering and just asked the difference between the chicken souvlaki and the chicken gyro, as well as the price difference.The young blonde girl (who said she was the manager)repeatedly was rolling her eyes at me, giving me a lot of attitude, and calling me names right in front of me with her co-worker while I was trying to order. I cancelled my order and left.

1:Lady did not wear hat or hair net making my food2: she cooked and served someone before she wven started mine!Then messed up my order and charged me a steak something instead of the chicken solovaki wrap I ordered and did not put the right toppings I asked for. Said her fault but said she undercharged me and didnt offer any thing to make it better3: also ordered a Greek salad.it had regular white onions instead of the usual red and was given Italian dressing instead of greek.4: Extreamly disappointed . Was 1st time there and won't be going back !

I came into the store to excited to try it and stood at the front counter for 10 minutes ringing the bell and saying HELLO. There were no customers and no employees in store. Very unprofessional to leave the store unattainable, the place looks dirty, and the food was all uncovered. ?????

Moved into the area recently and was looking for good greek food. Thought I would try this place out. Nothing like a nice greek dinner with the rice and roast potatoes. As soon as I walked in on a Sunday around 5:30, the young girl greeted me with a "hello, how are you. We have no rice or roast potatoes???" That is like Tims saying we are out of coffee!!Then I said I'd like a couple of chicken skewers and she said "they will take 20 minutes because they are not cooked!" Seriously???Decided to leave and go to another place that has food and you can get it in max 10 minutes.

Amazing Greek food!!! I go for lunch all the time and it’s always FRESH and delicious, hard to find a place with real Greek food that tastes to good and the service is always friendly and amazing, you must try if you haven’t already!!!!!
