Used to be better. Breakfast special is reasonable but other breakfast ie. French toast is expensive for 3 slices of bread. Also question Covid practices as staff at counter not properly masked, condiments shared etc

They have never done this. Never! They always used to have excellent customer service.When walking in, you have to sign your name and phone number. That's more than important during the pandemic. However, why am I signing my name with the same pen everyone in the diner has touched???That should be the waitress' job upon entering the diner.The owner welcomes us and seats us (table for 2). A waitress comes within 5 minutes and asks us what we would like to drink (water×2). After 2 minutes another waitress brings the drinks and asks if we are ready to order. We asked for a few more minutes.... and WE waited... and we waited... waited. We waited for 20 minutes and our orders weren't even taken.As we're walking out, another waitress shocked asks what happened... knowing that we were ignored (diner had very few customers at the time)This just ruined my whole experience there. Not going back....

I have been there quite a few times and have enjoyed everything i have ever order. Staff is friendly and service is fast.THEY ARE OPEN FOR DINE IN with limited seating due to COVID-19. They are following all the rules for everyone's safety.A great place to eat

Food was gross neither of us finished our meals. Service seems to care less didn’t even ask us how we enjoyed everything when we clearly didn’t even eat half of our meals. Owner is insanely rude he complains out loud in front of customers about them and then gets upset when you mention it and tells you not to listen to his conversations. Don’t know how this place is still in business

If you want a very clean, decent, friendly atmosphere. This is a wonderful place to go. The actual "Johnny" is often there to warmly greet you. I've known him for probably 30 years and he's a wonderful host. Great quality and value for the price. It's a standard option when you want a quick, good meal and chat with friends. Highly recommended! Great new look in the restaurant, even with covid it still feels friendly and kind of like going to mom's for lunch.

We have been here quite a few times for breakfast, their breakfast is great. We just started ordering out takeout for dinner and we couldn't be happier. The burgers are excellent, the portions are generous, the wings are good, the fish and chips were delicious and they had no problem loading up the tartar sauce!
Not fancy but good decent diner fare, all day breakfast, etc. The staff is friendly and attentive. My late uncle used to eat there regularly and we usually go there at least once a year as a family

I just left Johnny's upset. My family comes here all the time and buys the breakfast special every weekend they pick up the order and we eat at home on sundays. I go there today and ask for 9 breakfast specials and the waitress tells me they dont do it for take out. The poster doesnt state it's an eat in special and my family has bout it to go many times , but when I go for my family the first time she refused me . They just lost our business. Because my only thoughts are my mothers white and my mixed so did she refuse me because I'm mixed or was too lazy to ask the cook to make 9 specials. Regardless I just went home empty handed to 8 family members looking forward to Johnny's

Johnny's feels like home when we come in to eat! you'll almost always see Johnny himself there greeting everyone and asking how everyone is. The food is great, the servers are wonderful. It's one place I will always choose for breakfast and lunch! I miss dinner there!
