I love this cozy little restaurant. That's what I call momma's cooking. The food is authentic Mexican cuisine and it tasted amazing. We ordered the Steak a la Nayarita and Chicken Con Mole, both were to die for. We love Mexican food and decided to go there on Valentine's Day for a more intimate experience. We were glad we went because they really made it special. They were so welcoming, decorated the place nicely with flowers, and they kindly offered my partner a rose before we left. We're all about supporting local businesses and we love it when we find these gems. We highly recommend this restaurant. I am confident that anything you order there will be fantastic. Just go for an adventure, you'll love it!

Have been to Mar Y Tierra a few times now and they are fantastic! Excellent authentic Mexican food. Always hot and fresh! And the customer service is superb! I recommend the Acapulco combo. Their chimichanga and enchiladas are delicious!

The food was incredible ?. my husband and I enjoyed everything we ordered. The guacamole and chips were awesome. The food was fresh and made to order. We got the food delivered to us and it travels well. We will definitely be ordering again and again soon.

The best Mexican food I have had In Durham, I used to like anotger little shop that has now closed but I am lucky that this little restaurant has opened near me. I have had food from 2 other mexico Lindo locations and this one to me is by far the best the others are bland in my opnion. I moved to Durham from California years ago and my biggest complaint is the lack of good authentic Mexican food. I tried their carnitas chimichanga and the grilled steak tacos. Both were great. I will definitely be back.
