Been there with my family.. no much variety or options of food ..no soup included for iftar .. only the rice and chicken drums were okay .. but forget about kebab wasn't tasty at all chicken and meat are the same colour and taste ... we wont return back.

Ok this place is new. They have three locations. So far I have eaten at both Ottawa locations but have not tried the Gatineau location yet. My favourite spot so far is the one on Bank and Alta even tho Rideau is closer to home. The food is fresh and very flavourful. Most important I feel good after their food. I recommend the sultani dish. It’s my favourite. I found the portions small at Rideau location and the kebab was not as well seasoned as Bank location. I also tried other kebab restaurants that had a better review than this place but to be honest the food was not as good as Ariana! And their chicken kebab sandwich is ten times better than your local shawarma place.Dietary restrictions: I have a sensitive gut and I never have any trouble after I eat their food.Parking: Free parking at both Ottawa locations. Have not been to Gatineau location.
Utterly disgusting food and horrible service!!!I ordered a chicken breast kabab and got a HAIR in it. I informed the waitress and they took my plate away. They didn’t even apologize or hand me a new plate. However, when my friends went to pay, they charged us the full price for my dish as well. Upon reminding them about the hair, they told me that they would give me a $5 discount. I said that I was not going to pay for a food that I barely touched because of unsanitary conditions. The cook, WHO WAS NEITHER WEARING GLOVES NOR A HAIRNET, started arguing with me about how I should pay for my plate. They kept on saying that all of his 60 recent customers had no complaint. Well, how about maybe they did not get a hair in their food?? I insisted that there were no sanitary protocols in place and that I would not pay for something that I didn’t have because of their mistake. They even accused me of finishing most of the food and when I confronted the waitress who picked up my plate, they had no valid justification for their claim. In the end, they just went away in their kitchen without EVEN APOLOGIZING.Plus, mind you, the waitress was sweeping the floor RIGHT beneath our table WHILE my friends were eating!!Overall, an extremely disgusting experience and I would 100% NOT recommend!!

My friend got the chicken breast kabab today, and found hair in her food. The waiter came to pick up the food and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience caused but she was instead coerced into paying the full amount even though she did not order anything else. Well I guess that’s the review you get for being dishonest to your customers ??♂️

I live in walking distance to this restaurant. The food is delicious, high quality and kept its Afghan origin. The staff who are Afghan as well are nice, kind and polite.
Afghan wrap with fries inside is an absolute must try. I will go out of my way for this exact wrap (and I live in Manotick!)BUT, not sure why the Ariana Kabob near Alta Vista's Afghan wrap is a sad, terrible version of the Rideau street gem. Don't expect taste and quality to be matched at this chain restaurant.
