I really want to like this place, but have had the food twice now and it is not good. Both times the meat was flavourless, dry, stale, while still somehow fatty and oily. Nothing is well seasoned. Its like they haven't tried thier own food. I hope they change things up, but as is, would not recommend.

This was HANDS DOWN the best Banh Mi I've ever had in Ottawa! Absolutely delicious. They make their own bread.I had the Saigon special. The Pate is absolutely delicious in a sandwich and gives you a real authentic experience.I would highly recommend.You don't want to sleep on this please. Drop what you're doing. Go right now. Charcuterie board - 5/10. Two sandwiches worth of food. Pricy as it came to about $44 after tax, which is more than what two sandwiches cost. It is more presentable for parties.Classic and Saigon sandwiches - 10/10!! Absolutely delicious. The bread is so flaky and hard so it might be hard to eat without making a mess and might hurt your mouth a little. But they are so delicious so it is worth it. The meat and the pickled veggies are perfectly balanced. I had tried other BanhMi before from other places and they would be either too pickled or not enough or the veggie would be cut too thick (not having a good ratio of veggie to meat) or too soggy (regular bread with too much sauce or liquid). But these sandwiches are perfect.Pork sandwiches - 8/10. Although the pork sandwiches are my friend's fav, it is not my cup of tea. I find the pickled cabbage too much. Would be nice if they are shredded cabbage instead of chunks. The pork itself is charred with that sweet glaze. Absolutely delicious.
There are daily specials on the banhmi.Tried the saigon special and grilled pork. They were both quite good and very filling. Personally still liked the saigon special best. The ice coffee though was a disappointment. $7 for a medium cup and was honestly quite mediocre.

Yum yum yum! Super tasty crunchy on outside, soft on inside bread (star of the show). Ive gotten the office energy sandwich a few times now and always really good. The staff are very friendly and they have good $10 daily deals. There are also small vietnamese snacks you can buy in store.
