Yes I ordered a Too Good to Go surprise bag. But I don't think the owner knows how this program works. First of all he did not give me a surprise bag, he took the food directly from what he was serving that day. At first I thought that was great like this guy is giving me fresh food and not what's leftover from the day before. But when I saw the quantity I was extremely underwhelmed. I asked him if this was worth $18 and he nodded yes. Now I come to find out after reading another review that this plate I was served was actually worth $7 (the owner responded with this info to the other review).The way this app works is you only pay a fraction of what the food is worth because it's food leftover from the day before. If you don't have anything from the day before don't put anything on the app Too Good to Go.Now for the way the food tasted, I'll just say I won't be eating from this restaurant again.I hate to think this owner is just trying to get people inside his restaurant as this place was empty.Sorry buddy but get with the program!

Nice place! They make great poutine, especially when topped with their chicken! Plus the prep guy at the counter was very friendly and engaging! Only complaint was the dour, sour-faced older gentleman (owner?) constantly grumbling and barking in Arabic at him and the cashier. Plus the cashier, while nice and attentive, looked VERY young…like not a day over 12 young… Felt a bit like I was an accessory to a labour law violation… But a pleasant, delicious experience overall.
