SO cool to look through all their books and their cappuccino was SO tasty. Will be going back

They have a better selection than indigo these days. The perfect store for someone with a large TBR list who also likes the experience of browsing shelves. The real challenge is not spending all my money on first editions of my favourite books when they show up.

Such a gem! First time there and I'll definitely go back. I'd recommend you go early as seats are limited. If you are into great coffee (and yeah I consider myself a coffee snob and these folks are up to par) and amazing books...then this is your place.

Cute place, nice selection of books and more in the basement. Coffee was decent, cookie was really good and cinnamon bun was just alright, very very sweet and dense. Definitely tight quarters in terms of seating
Denise MacDonald
Beautiful bookstore/cafe with a great selection of books and drinks and pastries. Don't forget to check out the basement!

They offer credit for your used books to buy more used books or even get something at their expresso bar.

I love this place but the hours are insane. How are you supposed to go during the week if you have a job?

Great place for reading good books and relaxing with coffee or tea. Check with owners when attempting to trade in books, as they may not accept all types.

Good book selection. Hard to get a table to enjoy coffee. Most are long-term workstations for people doing work...
This is a very nice shop, and much bigger on the inside than it seems! It was very crowded when I went and so I didn't end up getting a book, but I enjoyed looking around. I would have liked it if the science fiction and fantasy sections were separated as well.

It was epic

I think this might be my favorite place in Ottawa.

Great ambience and selection. I wish there was a bit more seating.

Great bookstore and coffee shop, pretty much cultural hub of the community (and one of the few of Ottawa's). Two stories of books, both new and (mainly) used.
Cozy book shop and coffee bar
