A bit expensive for what it is. Bread was dry, not much flavor. They unfortunately don’t have a machine to cut loafs

Have enjoyed their take out sandwiches many times. Please add some more sauce. They have been dry every time so I have to add my own but the flavour is very good otherwise.

Just came here and wanted some bread, was a fairly small sourdough loaf that was already a little on the stale side, unfortunately.

One of the DRIEST pain au chocolat I have eatenProbably not very freshVery disappointed, especially given the price...With “French” in the name we expect a minimum of quality

I bought a few items yesterday in my quest for good bread in Ottawa (Like trying to find a needle in a haystack). Anyway this place was cute and the service was great but the baguette was like sawdust with no real flavour and a very fine crumb (not at all like a baguette should be). Can someone tell me where they make good bread?

Our regular shop for baguette was out. They reserved 6 for me. Someone also followed up to make sure that I received them on Christmas Eve!

Bought a stollen yesterday and was definitely not fresh. Extremely dry and tasted like a very very old bread left on the counter for many days. Very disappointing.

Omg disgusting ! They is nothing French in this place. It looks third world bakery . Everything was old when we complained they were rude, that’s it.
The baguette is infamous, nothing to do with a French baguette, not crunchy, rubbery texture like hypermarket baguettes. The saleswoman is not friendly, no smile, no welcome or hello, and to be honest there was one person, a young man who was very welcoming at the entrance. By saying French baker we expect a minimum of quality, this time sorry to tell you that, but we have to revise a lot of things.

Excellent gem we found in Ottawa while touring the city. We tried 3 treats-tartelette aux fruits, mille feuille, and an opera. Everything was tasty and staff explained the treats to us, helping us make our choices. Reasonable prices. I would grab treats again next time in the area.

This is a place to go for quality baked products. Their desserts are flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness as their desserts are not factory produced and overladen with sugar and additives to increase their shelf life. Pricey? Yes, but it is worth it.
