This restaurant was great when Tony ran it. The new owners have taken it to the next level! The food is delicious - the donair meat is juicy and cut thick; combined with their donair sauce and veggies, it all comes together to make their deservedly famous pizza and wraps. And, there is Terry-Lynn - you will be hard-pressed to find anybody who puts in as much heart and love into her food and business as Terry-Lynn ❤️

I can’t even begin to explain how nostalgic, delicious and wonderful this place is. If you’re looking for a real east coast feel, look no further. The donair was the best east coast donair I’ve had in many years, also the garlic fingers (which I can’t get anywhere near where I am) were fantastic. Along with a wonderful atmosphere, featuring amazing east coast music, were absolutely fantastic staff. Friendly, caring and full of easy coast charm. Thank you for bringing me and my husband down memory lane.

Anyone missing the east coast needs to give it a try. Donair was perfect, the poutine was exactly like you'd get out there. The decor was lovely, the atmosphere was wonderful, the service was incredible, and the prices were surprisingly
DW have taken out from this restaurant a few times but this was the first time that we dined in. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, it's obvious that they care about their customers. And there were regulars in the restaurant who seemed to be treated like family.The atmosphere is cozy and spotless. The east-coast music fits perfectly with the mood.The donairs are the best in Ottawa and I don't say that lightly: I've been a loyal customer to Romeo's Pizza and Donair House, in Nepean, since it opened, more than 40 years ago, but I only consider going if I'm in the vicinity or passing through. DW and I live in Barrhaven and we made the deliberate trip out to Centretown Halifax Donair because their donairs are worth thetrip. The spice on the meat, mixed with the sweetness of the sauce, is sublime.I can't recommend these folks enough.

The donair was heavenly as usual, the service is always fantastic and friendly. I do enjoy coming to this place and experiencing the welcoming atmosphere.One thing is Wish we had real cheese curds for poutines!

Perfection! I am so happy to have discovered this little gem. The donair on pita was delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the tomatoes & onions were fresh and the sauce had the perfect level of sweetness. You can't get more authentic Halifax donair on pita than here. The owners are so welcoming. The restaurant was really clean. Perfection!
