Adding to my review from 4 years ago, it’s mostly unchanged. This place calls itself cinnaholic and what I just ate was a dinner roll with icing sugar. There was no cinnamon in it. At nearly $7/dinner roll I’m sorry but do you have any quality control…?From 4 years ago:You need to take look at your staff and product offering...It took 15 minutes to get a coffee and a basic bun, and I was only 4th in line and everyone in front of me was ordering basics. Then my coffee was made and sat on the espresso machine for 5 minutes while the cashier served others. I had to ask for my coffee to be handed to me.Staff seem unenthusiastic, and in zero rush to serve anybody. Icing was just slopped on top of the bun like it was shot out of a cannon. Also, it wasn't busy and you temporarily ran out of buns, that's kinda a critical failure when that's your main selling item. At $5 bun I was expecting to be wowed, but I wasn't. Now I realize why the lines are out the door, I thought people were willing to wait because it was so good, but it's actually because the service it so bad and it takes literally forever to get your food.I get that you're all vegan and that's great that your main products are vegan friendly but really, you don't even offer milk or cream for your coffee?!? Not everyone is vegan so you may want to offer your other customers options, otherwise your basically just deterring people from your business. I won't go back simply because of this, and everyone I was with who normally takes milk or cream in their coffee commented on the shortcoming. Not everyone wants soy or almond milk in their coffee, even though you want to push the vegan thing. You can't tell people what they want, they want what they want, and you’re not doing yourself any favors alienating people.

Absolutely love cinnaholic. My family and I get it every now and again and it's always delicious. Cookie dough is my favourite. The coffee is also very good. Highly recommend.

Everything was 10/10! When I walked in I didn’t realize that it was a vegan/ gluten free establishment, OMG it made my day when the friendly female cashier told me!I ordered the old skool roll, Cookie Monster and a large matcha latte with almond milk.My partner bought two chocolate chip cookies and a brownie (should have bought 2 of the brownies, you really can’t share that :D )
Friendly service, walked us through the process as it was our first time. Looks very clean inside, and the cinnamon buns are delightful. One was a bit sweeter then the other but both very balanced!

I’m sorry. I actually don’t know how this place is in business. So much icing, and it’s gross. Like the icing is not good. I agree with the other reviews. Cinnabon and this place is no comparison, like even if you told me it had zero calories I would not even eat it, the bun taste plain and rubber. It’s just gross

The best FRESH Cookie dough scoops, fresh Cinnabons, fresh brownies and fresh cookies! Honestly everything here is delicious, we even got a cookie cake for my birthday this year and IT WAS DELICIOUS! Everything here is the best!
today finally got the chance to try cinnaholic. i heard about it for years and thought lets try my luck. lets just say, very diappointed. the gentleman preparing the orders smothered so much icing, it was easily 3 times the weight of the cinnabon itsself! i had to use 4 spoons to take it off. the cinnabon was more like bread, and not fresh. they heat it but its not cooked the day of, or maybe thats how they are. dont know. but in comparison to Cinnabon, no chance. My partner ordered the Apple Pie Roll, he took a bite and threw the rest. not the best 17$ i spent. probably comparable to the ikea cinnabons at best., less the mountains of icing.

The staff is usually super friendly, too!Vegetarian options: Fully vegan place, not written anywhere. People wouldn't know, and they would be eating vegan!

One of the best places in Ottawa to get yourself some vegan sweets. Cinnaholic has a HUGE selection of cinnamon buns (and other treats!), some which stay year-round and many which change seasonally.
My personal favourite out of their cinnamon buns is the "Cookie Monster Roll", which boasts and impressive heap of cookie dough atop cream cheese icing and then drizzled with chocolate and chocolate chips. It is fantastic... and really, a meal on its own with how filling it is!
Aside from the cinnamon buns they also offer an AMAZING vegan cookie dough, delicious brownies, mini-buns, cookies (chocolate chip and cinnadoodle), and some basic cafe drinks (drip coffee, teas, lattes).
Price-wise, it really is quite a good deal because these buns are BIG. If you order for delivery, they sell these really nice bundles of treats which end up being a rather good price for a huge amount of desserts.
The location itself has some seating on the inside and some on the outside as well, provided the weather allows for it. There is a washroom for customers. Staff are consistently friendly!

everyone is very friendly. My only issue is that not all employees have the same information. They all have different information about things, it gets confusing sometimes because sometimes I can certain things and sometimes they say they never do that and when I go back other days I get those certain things without any issues. it would help if everyone was on the same page.
