The only place that serves your cơm tấm right. Portions are generous. I usually share an appetizer and a 30B (grilled chicken, pork and beef on rice) with and extra eggs. Service is great. Highly recommend!
One of the best Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa. I have been in many places from Paris , Nice, Cannes, Venice, Rome, Florence, Amsterdam, Geneva, Frankfurt, Berlin, to Washington DC, Austin ...There's only a couple of restaurants in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh ville that are better. Excellent price-quality ratio but no parking, no reservation and no credit card accepted.

I basically watch the owner's son grow up, he used to be shorter than me and now I'm way shorter than him.I love their bun bo hui noodles and their grilled meat dishes. I introduced this to a friend of mine and this place has become his favorite as well.

This restaurant is a bit interesting. They allow you to choose the ingredients in the dishes, almost customizable. The price is reasonable but the meal side is on the low side. Flavourful dishes.
Cutely decorated hole in the wall Viet diner that also doubles as a takeout counter for some of the most "legit," well-priced banh-mi in the city.If you are experienced in Vietnamese food (and if you aren't yet, consider what city you are in and get to work), Co cham offers a really interesting alternative to the other places because a lot of dishes have a heartier, sometimes Cantonese, sometimes saucy twist to them while still feeling authentic.We go here when we want something a bit heavier or more flavorful than what their peers offer. If you're ready for it, they really hit you hard with the flavors, all at a good price with generous portions. These kinds of personal twists in each restaurant are an awesome feature of having such a large Viet diaspora in Ottawa.Standout menu items:- Banh Mi (takeout only)- Bun bo Hue- Pork chop on rice
