We ordered a 10 inch floral cake for my Mom's 60th birthday, and oh boy were we ever impressed! The cake was not only absolutely BEAUTIFUL but it was also perfectly baked and delicious. The buttercream was sooo good and the chocolate cake itself was very well balanced, fresh and rich. We also ordered 6 gluten-free vanilla cupcakes and they were scrumptious too, everyone who had one complimented them, saying they were light and fluffy... just the way a cupcake should be! The service from the staff was impeccable. We cannot thank them enough for making these beautiful works of art! I would love to get another cake from here for another special occasion.

So I LOVE their cupcakes and the store is cute and everyone is super friendly. However, I’ve ordered 2 cakes from them and both times they have not met expectations—wrong cake decorations both times and very dry this last time. I will still get cupcakes there, but I won’t do special order cakes again. I will say that after the first time they offered a gift card for the cake to compensate their mistake, which was good customer service. I won’t bother this time as I’m not interested in getting a gc for error/quality issues, when I would prefer the correct item from the start.I do still suggest Cupcake Lounge as I have no doubt if I contacted them they’d compensate (but I’m not looking for that again) and I did give them a second try bc as I said I LOVE their cupcakes. So definitely still go for cupcakes. But if you have also had issues with custom orders, I would proceed with caution.

The Cupcake Lounge made our wedding cake and we were so impressed with it! Our initial consultation with Laura was great, she allowed us to try many different cakes and explained all of the options to us. She is so friendly and easy to work with. Anytime I emailed her she was fast to respond & had no problem making a few changes. She also coordinated the fresh flowers that are on top of the cake (initial topper purchased elsewhere). There was also a delivery option for a very reasonable price. The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious. I highly recommend getting your wedding cake from here.

We brought our friend’s kids here for a treat- they loved it. Cupcakes were fresh, we loved the icing (not hard, nice and soft). We tried the egg nog, chocolate vanilla, Oreo and vegan chocolate- all top notch.
OK, let's start with the positive: The german chocolate cake with the caramel coconut frosting is fantastic. Cupcakes are great and a great selection. But the Black Forest Cake is just a giant chocolate/chocolate cupcake with a few cherries. There needs to be a full layer of cherry compote and separate layer of whipped cream. Too much chocolate icing, which would be fixed by having the cherry and cream layers replacing two of the chocolate icing layers. Will still go back. I love the German Chocolate Cake!

The store was very-well cleaned and maintained. The staff were kind and polite and little espresso cup was cute, but they didn’t offer ceramic cup for those who weren't getting it to go. The espresso wasn’t good and it tasted like small drip coffee.

We ordered several dozen mini cupcakes (chocolate chocolate, strawberry, gf vanilla vanilla, vegan lemon) as well as a few dozen chocolate covered strawberries for our late night dessert table and everything was a huge hit! My dad and friend did the pick up earlier in the day and commented on how friendly the service was. They were also very helpful with instructions on how to store the items as well as with packaging options. Would highly recommend!
