Went here with the family for an easy dinner. They had a pretty great deal for a family sized dinner with smoked meat on a plate and rye bread which was pretty decent for the price. We also ordered poutine and it was massive. Good value.
Nothing beats the juicy taste of hand carved traditional smoked meat!!! I’m a Montrealer by birth and smoked meat there is a staple! Slow smoked and seasoned to perfection you can enjoy a sandwich in store or buy the whole brisket for your personal party. The staff is pleasant and the establishment clean. When I was driving Motorcoach Tours and if I was in Ottawa I always recommended Dunn’s Famous Restaurant on Dalhousie St for lunch or dinner. The staff always treated everybody exceptionally well and the food was always fantastic. If you’re hungry in Ottawa Dunn’s is a great stop.
