There weren’t any suggestions/instructions on when to eat each course so, except for the protein, we ate our food cold. Each course was prepared individually therefore they were cold when we ate.The waitress served our drinks, took our food order, then disappeared. I had to get a second bottle of wine myself at the bar.

Place is run down, not the typical care of a Japanese place..in particular the washrooms! Only adequate service. Teppanyaki made in kitchen was poor quality. It was swimming in oil! Only reason for 2 stars was due to protein portion size being generous.

Our family had such a lovely time at Edoko. It was a dinner + experience. We each got fillet mignon & scallop dinner combination, and chicken. Very big portion and tasteful, finished it with tempura ice cream ? so good. Good wine, too. There was a server who shared interesting stories with us - he’s such a character! Thanks for keeping us entertained. We’d definitely go back.Parking: We parked in the arts centre lot. $3/30m. Difficult to find street parking.
The food was barely warm when it arrived. If you told me it came out of a can I would believe you. Salty as well. Go somewhere else.

I am sorry but I have been to one of these dinners in Niagara falls and it was a much better experience. This place in Ottawa unfortunately fell short. The food was overly greasy and the chef gave a show to the other two tables and gave a mediocre show for us. I took my man here for his bday and was expecting a good time. I was sadly disappointed.
