Only really recently started coming year after having visited once a number of years ago and after my initial experience, I had felt the place to be pricey while still feeling a little basic.What I can say now after having visited again twice in the last few months, is that Evoo has become one of my favourite places to have dinner in the city. Staff are nice and the team feels cohesive. The food is excellent, vibes are always fun and it’s a different resto experience than other high end restaurants in town, without necessarily having to ball out. The Tzatziki, avocado & halloumi salad, and spanakopita all absolutely SLAP. The meats are generous potions and delicious. I’m stoked to have had this become one of my go to places in Ott/Gat!
If you're willing to splurge a bit, EVOO is definitely worth it. The food is undeniably tasty, though it might stretch the budget a tad. But honestly, we left feeling really happy and full. It's a solid choice for a special night out.

Food was good, nothing wow, but we didn't order any of the meat plates as we were on a budget.. our waitress was super nice! There were some guys next to us talking very loud, so that was not great.. but overall it seems like a nice restaurant to go for a date or in small groups. Halfway through the night, one of the waitresses distributed shots for everyone - a gift from the bartender he said - i thought that was pretty nice!!

Memorable Sunday lunchtime dining experience. Met with a warm greeting by smiling hostess who offered to take our coats. Menu was varied, and we ended up ordering 5 appetizers to share. The waiter kindly accompanied a special request. The food was served hot, everything was fresh and quite delicious. We felt unhurried and enjoyed our meal at a leisurely pace. The restaurant was full and everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their meal and conversation. A wonderful afternoon! Thank you, EVOO.

Kathryn was absolutely fabulous. She made our experience so delightful and memorable. Helped us with all our wine and the food was sooo good. Kathryn should teach being a waitress she was so good!! Five stars.

I wouldn't say it was energetic - I would say it was loud and obnoxious - the music kept getting louder so voices would get louder. Saganaki came burned - not just well cooked or charred but burned so bad all you could taste was burnt taste and we sent it back and still had to pay for it.

The food is very tasty and the service excellent. However the prices are very high. The Evoo board at $170.00 had more french fries than anything else. The steak was delicious but a bit grizzly. The grilled octopus and shrimp were very good. The price of wine is exorbitant...$17.00 for a six oz glass of average tasting Greek wine. All and all a very expensive night.
I booked through the application for high chair area not the bar.when we got there the only available seats were at the bar. They promised to move us and they never did. Was suppose to be a temporary arrangement we ended up having dinner at the bar ( in a corner in the way to the washroom and people were hitting my chair in their way). My minor daughter was with us and we don't drink either. Very disappointed in the experience.

It was my second time going to that amazing restaurant! The food was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert! The wine selection was also appreciated. The service was impeccable! I will definitely be going there more often.

I went there the other night with a party of 10 for a 60th birthday celebration. This was my 1st time there and it was great!!! The food was a decent portion and flavorful. Our waitress Christina was absolutely amazing. What a great experience!!

Has gotten very expensive for portion that seems to be smaller than before. Price goes up, quantity went down which doesnt make much sense to us. Was our favourite restaurant in ottawa but now what you get for the price isnt worth it to us anymore.

I always go to Evoo for late lunch (1.30pm) and get serve by either Nathan, Tony or Raidan. Top customer service and they always pack my left over for me including the sauces that comes with the 3 dips. Last night I went... disappointed! My bill was 94 $ and I tipped 20$ cash to the waitress to get a disappointed when I opened my left-over container... no sauces for my calamari and pita triangles, which I find it's weird given the fact I had it on the platter when the waitress took it away to pack. I called in first before writing this review to rectify it... I believe I was talking to that same waitress... I explained... she asked me what do you want us to do????... I don't know????... You tell me. Very disappointed service especially I tipped her really good I think on a bill of 94$, 20 $ tip cash! I am pretty upset given the fact I go there very, very often. That can make me rethink and try other places in town.
