Stopped in early Sunday afternoon and just missed the breakfast menu, but the all day brunch is pretty good. Son had the eggs, bacon and sausage on poutine, spouse had the cinnamon pancakes and I had the regular pancakes / breakfast sandwich. Everything was very good, pancakes are extra extra thick and good. My wife’s breakfast was a little too sweet for her, even after removing much of the icing. But we swapped a pancake each and all was good. Service was prompt and very friendly and it is a cozy restaurant.

Great diner in the Little Italy area. They have pretty much anything that you would find at a typical diner. Good hot chocolate and nice variety of pancakes. I ordered the ones with vanilla icing sugar on top and they were top-notch. Looking forward to returning and trying another item!

I remember coming here a few times before covid, and I really liked the concept back then. You'd get a seat and menus, and once you decided what you wanted, you'd go to the cashier and tell them what you wanted, paid for it, and they'd bring it to you. This was great because it eliminated having to wait for a server to come take your order or bring you the bill, and you can just leave as soon as you were finished eating. It seems this is no longer the case since we tried to do that, and the staff seemed confused as to what we were doing. Kinda upset about that, honestly.That aside, my boyfriend and I had an otherwise great experience. We were the only people there, so we got seated immediately. We both ordered pulled pork mac and cheese, and they told us that it might take a while for them to make it.I'm not exactly sure how long it took for them to make it and serve us because for us, it felt like less than 10 minutes because we were very deep in conversation, so it felt like we hardly waited. They still apologized for the wait and gave us free donuts, which was way more than we expected.The waitress also came to check on us at the most coincidental convenient times, for example, the literal second after I had just finished my water, or the exact second we finished our meals, so we didn't end up having to wait for a bill or anything. 10/10 this place never disappoints me.One thing I will say, is that I do kinda wish the Mac and cheese was baked. I was kinda hoping it'd have that cheesy crust on the top, but it didn't. It was still amazing otherwise and I'd definitely order it again.

My experience with this restaurant is primarily through Ubereats, although I have been there. My last order was pancakes. They did not include any syrup. Even though I paid extra for syrup. This time was also pancakes. They were cold, although they provided a tiny cup of syrup for 2.99. I am ashamed of myself for ordering from them again. Garbage.

Drinks were subbed for another drink without checking with the customer.I'm a cook for the past 15 years working in both pubs and fine dining and this was sent out in unacceptable condition.You need a better Expo or the Chef needs to improve their quality.Won't be ordering here again.

Food was good but service very unorganized. We were being served by 3 different people and there seemed to be very little communication between them. Beware the online menu is not what is offered for sit down, so if you are looking at online options ahead of time you may be disappointed. Noone in line ahead of us but all tables taken, took half hour to be seated, another 45 minutes to have our order taken after two promises to bring water both forgotten by servers, then neighbouring table left after no food in 1.5 hours. We got served 2 hours after arriving. Food was very overpriced for breakfast and we were offered free extra drinks but still paid 55 for two breakfasts, mine a 2 egg breakfast with frozen potatoes, two eggs, three strips of bacon, no garnish, the other a wrap some potatoes, and a milkshake that was really icecream, milk and a touch of syrup. Busperson was trying to run to do everyone else's job, had to ask for service four times so regretted not leaving as food was tasteless and quantity/quality poor price. Person who seemed to be in charge when I went in from our deck table to ask to hav e our order taken 1 hour 15 min. after arrriving. Others did not finish plates and only ones getting served in a timely manner were take outs. Highly recommend going elsewhere for breakfast. Not the first time I have been there but service and food is MUCH worse and prices are now too high. Also bottled pop as beverage in a sit down restaurant seems way off enviro. wise.

The food is delicious but I had the most horrible experience. The night manager was audibly berating the staff while sitting at a table and doing nothing to help. It wasn’t busy so there was no background noise to drown out the manager’s claims that “he could fire anyone at any time for anything he wanted.” He also made a BLATANTLY racist comment that I dare not put here. I urge the owners to read this review and reach out so I may provide more details. Told my server to quit immediately after hearing how he spoke to her. No one should be subjected to that kind of humiliation and degradation in their workplace. Would’ve given 1 star if it weren’t for the tasty food.EDIT: not only is the manager horrible, this place refuses to take cash as payment. Which is ACTUALLY illegal, as cash must be accepted as legal tender in all of Canada. Not sure what they think they're doing, but this is a nightmare of a business operation. They should be ashamed.

Best diner/ restaurant I've been to in a while! The food was absolutely delicious, homemade, and very filling. The portions were generous for the price point and the ambiance was superb. Most importantly, staff was outstanding, generous, and so ever kind! We went there while fasting and they gave us free donuts out of the kindness of their hearts - they told us to have it for later in the night! Great to chat with and seemed so genuine. Will always recommend - totally my new got to spot.

Not good experience. They require you order online but payment doesnt work so you wait until they remember to come see you. Placed breakfast order and took 35 min to receive. Got it without cutlery strawberries or bacon ordered. Asked for it and got strawberry jam lol. The bacon didnt look great either. Over all service and food no good. Used to be good here.Not coming back.
I paid 22$ for this, thought it would be extravagant. It's mediocre, oreo shake you can get the same exact one at burger king for half the price and tastes better too!! Cheesecake was ok.

Yeah not happy with this place. Service was awful. Food was cold by the time it arrived at our table. We were the only table in the place eating and no skip/Uber orders going out so 35 mins waiting for pancakes seems excessive and to have it be cold when it comes to you. and considering four pancakes are 17.99 and milk shakes are 8.99 breakfast for four people was close to a hundred dollars. I have never left a negative yelp review but I was utterly dissatisfied and disappointed. Don't eat here.

I ordered from here tonight and the order came but with something missing, I called the restaurant and both people I spoke to were very understanding, calm and helpful. They went above and beyond. Not to mention their food is so good! I highly recommend going here!

I'm trully disappointed with the quality of the food I received today, they chicken fingers were under cooked a d my fried in my poutin were still raw. We ordered thru uber. So upset. This was my Dad's & I fav place. Now I don't even want to eat there after this, his mamoral of his passing or not. I hope I dont get sick from the one bite of chicken finger that took.

Not gonna lie folks, this review is long overdue. Been taking friends and family here for a few years, but since covid it's mostly been take out. These guys have something to satisfy everybody in your group and you'll still be adding things to your order. Food and service are always imaginative and prepared affectionately! OH! And did I mention they're open late?? (Shift workers rejoice!). If you can, turn off your step counters and calorie calculators for a bit and go enjoy!!Also, if you REALLY want to support your local food crews, eat in (when permitted), or call ahead to pick up your orders. These third party apps (DD, skip, Uber eats... You know who you are) are such a rip off (as convenient as they may be). We were absolutely spoiled by Kevin and the rest of the night staff today when one of these apps messed up... It had nothing to do with the restaurant and yet they went to infinity and beyond to make it up to us. Thanks guys and gals! Always a treat ☺️
