Dining here was an absolute pleasure, with an ambiance that sets the perfect stage for a memorable meal and a menu that caters to a wide range of tastes. There was a slight mishap with our order, but the way the staff handled the situation showcased their commitment to guest satisfaction. Each dish we tasted was a testament to the chef's skill, blending taste and presentation seamlessly. Despite the brief confusion, we left with full bellies and happy hearts, planning our return.

Delicious and top-notch food, even though the portions are a tad small. The vibe is uniquely cool – feels like you're dining right in the heart of the kitchen, catching whiffs of that mouthwatering seafood aroma. The servers are friendly and helpful. It's a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth a shot. We dropped around $100 each for an app, a drink, and a main dish. Highly suggest giving it a go!

Stellar evening. The menu was ideal (variety and great choices for vegetarians). Kitchen offered to make a vegetarian hybrid dish based on one of their meat based options for a main and it did not disappoint. Super chill environment, great wines, lovely staff. Highly recommend if you're on the lookout for a relaxed, top-notch food experience with your partner or a close group of friends.Vegetarian options: Nice veg based apps and one main. Imaginative a and flavourful. Option to just order the veg apps and their insanely yummy focaccia.Parking: Street parking. Arrive a few minutes early to ensure you find a space and have enough time to walk to the resto.

Great service but food (appetizers+mains) was too salty. Recommend bit less sodium

What an incredible place! You're stepping into an upscale, hip, urban gem with a unique focus on incredible flavor combinations in spectacular portion sizes.Definitely worthy of making the trip; the chill atmosphere and friendliness of the staff make this your new date night destination. We came tonight for our third wedding anniversary and their team made the night so special for us. We were quite touched. Thank you to Annie and the entire team for their efforts. ❤️Vegetarian options: They offer a lovely vegetarian spaghetti with roasted zucchini and pine nuts.Dietary restrictions: I mentioned an allergy and the team was on it. Annie spoke to the chef and I was well aware of exactly what was in my food. The level of care, attention to detail, and up-front waitstaff made this a very relaxed experience. I had no concerns about what I was eating, and trusted their team 100%.

So disappointed tonight. We’ve been coming to Fraser Cafe for years for special occasions and we have never had a bad meal and the service has always been excellent. We also supported them all through the pandemic with their amazing take home gourmet meals. However, I was totally shocked to see some of the meals that were served at our table of 8 tonight. The portions were tiny compared to before. I ordered the steak Caesar salad and was very disappointed. The steak itself was tasty and well cooked but this dish lacked any of the typical fabulous flavours I have had before and the portion of salad was tiny with a pretty bland dressing. Others had the tuna dish, which was supposed to be a main but was the size of a starter. The service was also nothing to write home about compared to the previous servers we’ve had. Seriously not worth the money anymore, which is so sad as I used to love coming her for a treat.

Just make a reservation here, brunch or dinner! Food is fantastic, service is amazing (speed and personality of staff) and you won’t regret it.We’ve been for both dinner and brunch and enjoyed our experiences at both, flavours are just on point. Highly recommend! Photos are from brunch!

Definitely my favorite restaurant in Ottawa. I love their ever-changing menu, there is always something new to try and their dishes are so creative and reasonably priced, whether it be for brunch or dinner. Their cocktails are also so good and they have a good selection of local beers on tap. A real gem in New Edinburgh!

I ordered takeout yesterday. Oysters and pasta were super tasty and fresh, as well as their desserts. The only thing is they forgot the two orders of focaccia bread (paid for). However, they will happily credit the missing items for another day. Importantly, I have been to Fraser’s many times over the years and each time, the service was excellent and the food very delicious!
