Gabriel Pizza used to be one of the best in Ottawa, but NOT anymore. I ordered 2 medium Pizzas last night from the Bells Corners location, the worst pizza I have ever eaten.The cheese on both Pizzaa didn't even have the right texture and color, it was kind of liquidy, even the smell was not like a regular Pizza smell. For over 15 years I used to order Gabriel's for my staff every month (2 X XLG pizzas), and I spent thousands of dollars on Pizza every year. Last night's order would be the last one, unless they change the cheese type and go back to they way the used to make it. I normally like giving good reviews for restaurants and hotels, but I just found the pizza terrible; I would have given it a 1/2 star if I could.

The pizza we ordered for pick up, was apparently taken by the delivery guy. Then we had to wait on another one to be made. GOOD PIZZA, and they threw in some garlic sauce......not the best in customer service. The cook apologized but I would have expected more from the wait time we had to endure.
Worst location.Staff are always rude here. They always try to make us feel like we are having the food for the 1st time. By that I mean, when they ask toppings for instance. They act like your crazy if you don't want a certain ingredient.Then if they are asked to take that out or off, they prepare order slower. Last time we went here the woman began asking my child where the other parent is, why are they not with us etc...Rude and downright nosy! I thought this was a limited food service establishment...not a psychologist.

Bam!! Hidden gem! Romio is fantastic and his daughter Lynn is a super sweet girl that's working hard to learn the business. Very hospitable and personable service, like the small town I grew up in. The franchise, in my opinion is run horribly, but not this location as a local and family run business. I'll only do walk-in from now on because they're great people. Oh yeah, the pizza was excellent! Lol
