Amanda and her staff are always the highlight of my day! I start my day with a coffee and a “belly laugh!” Even when I don’t have time to stop, the smile beaming and the good mornings through the food court make so much difference in our days! The food is also DELICIOUS! Those brownies, AMANDA!!! Not to mention I feel better eating one after ordering a salad lol!

The breakfast sandwiches here are always amazing. Today I asked for a pickle and they gave me two, I could cry!
We did not bother going in when we seen this sign! I will not support a business that is so judgemental! You would think with all the bad reviews they would welcome all paying customers, but nope they joined the Liberal cult! Go to a more welcoming place, support a business that wants to serve all people!

The menu has reduced drastically over the years and some of my favourite salads have long since disappeared (and not in my stomach)! Although some of the flavour combos are new and exciting, once you've seen or tasted from the menu, you are better off making them at home for 1/3 of the price! However, the take out boxes are a great alternative for office lunches to heat more healthily...and if the office is picking up the tab. This restaurant location is quite small and often at lunch the lineups are long.

I noticed Green Rebel changed their menu and used the Ritual app to put it an order for pick up. I ordered their vegan Caesar salad and added sesame tofu as my protein. The salad itself had romaine lettuce, kale, vegan parmesan, broccoli, vegan croutons, capers, sunflower seeds, and vegan Caesar dressing. The flavours weren't bad, though I have to admit I like the vegan smoky Caesar at Mad Radish better. If it weren't for the salty capers and tofu, this one felt like it was lacking in both flavour and substance. I had three HUGE broccoli florets that were straight up raw and took me two or three bites for each floret. The romaine wasn't cut properly, so there were really big pieces of lettuce and many still attached to each other. The three slices of tofu were firm and also large. Not sure how I feel about maybe needing a knife for my salad. While the tofu was marinated and had good flavour, it wasn't didn't complement the vegan Caesar flavour very well and was more overpowering. I thought it would have been a better choice than the tikka tofu, falafel, or quinoa, which are the only vegan/vegetarian options as protein add-ons. If you find a better combination, let me know! My salad was ready even faster than estimated and the service was quick and friendly, even though they were really busy during the weekday lunch rush. I had a $10 credit through Ritual, so my meal only cost me a little over $6. The tofu was an additional $2.50, but no protein without it, so $16 for a medium to large size salad (or even over $10 without the protein) is just too pricy for me.

Very satisfied with the Chicken Satay salad. Fresh and fast, great for a quick lunch! They have a lot of fresh salads and sandwiches on their menu. Next time, I’d like to try their freshly brewed iced tea.
