The staff here clearly have fun and put a lot of love into their craft!I was there for lunch, and I had dill pickle drumsticks with sherri maple flavour. They brine all of their drumsticks for 24 hours in dill that they pickle themselves! The flavour combination between dill and maple was very unique. Something I had not seen before elsewhere. The service here is fantastic! The staff really want you to enjoy your food, and genuinely take an interest in your opinions of their dishes. My servers, Derek and (I apologize if I botch the spelling) Aliya, were so authentic and genuine! Qualities you love to see in the service industry.I originally went in for food simply because I was hungry, and left with more food than I intended. After having lunch, I got one of their toffee cookies to-go, which tasted amazing once I microwaved it back home! This spot is a half-resturant, half-cafe, so of course I also got some coffee to go, and this place has no limits! I tried a "bullet-coffee" for the first time, which is just a double shot of espresso with coconut oil and butter. Apparently, it improves cognitive function and metabolism - making it particularly good for those on a keto diet. Also, to all eco-conscious coffee lovers out there, if you bring your own mug, they reduce your costs by $0.50.Finally, this place supports local artists, placing handmade mugs on display for sale. You pick up a mug from the shelf, find a business card inside, and e-transfer the cost of the mug to the business owner, which I think is an adorable an ingenious way of supporting small and local business owners!I definitely would not mind going back to try their designed cocktail menu!

We loved our lunch at this establishment. The staff was extremely welcoming, the food and drinks were simply delicious, and we had a great time from start to finish. Derek was one of the most friendly, personable and overall great-vibes waiter I've met. I was there for an occasion, though this place caters to the many office workers coming in for a quick & efficient lunch. The special of the day burger featured sous-vide then fried onions and was delectable. We also loved the halloumi dish, the roasted brussel sprout salad, the buttermilk chicken sandwich, the soup of the day and the pickle flight (I'd never seen a pickle flight before this). Highly recommend!

Great brunch place with great tasting food and affordable prices. We came here on a Saturday with a group of 6 and the place was pretty busy! We waited a little bit and got seated in a booth and we ordered from their online menu system. We tried a few different dishes and the food was great. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed our time there! You may want to make reservations if you want to bypass the walk in line!

Wow wow and wow again. We came up from Montréal and took a chance on this placed based on great reviews. Well, everyone was right. The food is incredible, the cocktails are delicious and the service is impeccable. Big shoutout to our waiter Derek, who had amazing recommendations and was super helpful. We will be back!

At 1:00 PM, we were little disappointed by the limited menu options presented by the waiter. However, the food quality, service, and environment were all excellent.

We got the mob boss table, it was semi walled off and was private.Food portions were small but super tasty and staff was pretty awesome all while being frequent and ready to serve. In all it was pretty good but expensive experience.

First time at Grounded, we went for dinner and shared 4 shareables: ribs, brussel sprouts, halloumi and fries. Everything is delicious, prepared with creative fresh ingredients, flavours that will tantalize your taste buds in the best way possible. Strawberries with halloumi!! Who would have thought! Kudos to the whole team. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Joey, you were a gem. For dessert we had the skilled brownie and cocktails. Everything was to perfection. Thank you!

Can't say enough great things about this place! $2 Buck a shuck oysters had us coming in, but the service and vibes had us staying. Joey our server was amazing (thank you Sir, you truly made it special for us!); he kept us happy and was very friendly to talk to. Coming for happy hour is the way to go. We enjoyed the Dill Pickle project pickles, the whipped feta and of course libations. $19 bottle of Pinot Grigio (what a price!) and each had a beer from beyond the pale. We finished it off with a beautiful espresso, expertly presented with a Biskoff cookie and sparkling water on a wooden board. The decor was incredible, and learning that the artwork was inspired by Stephen King made it that much more fun. Thank you for the amazing food and fun dining experience before a night out on the town. Can't wait to come back.
