This hidden gem deserves more than just five stars. Service is top notch, food is delicious (not to mention very substantial portions), and the restaurant is spotless. You can tell that the owners, chef, and all their staff put their heart into what they do. Thank you Grunt for the most memorable private dining experience. We will be back!

OKAY, first the bad. The service was awful. They gave us a bag and sent us out the door. Nobody at my table (5 km away) to ask if I needed another drink, nobody showing a wine list, nobody clearing my table. And the portions are too large! NOW THE GOOD! Best caesar ever. The roast chicken in the pasta is divine. This woman and her Scottish husband of a chef do fabulous food at an altogether too affordable price. Can't wait to be able to sit at THEIR table and eat right out of the kitchen. Keep up the good fight folks, we'll be back. We will find a way to help with you community building.

Just had the Sunday takeout. Roast lamb with all the fixings and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Delicious and we shared dessert so we can have more tomorrow. Thanks Jason.
Another amazing takeout from GRUNT! I love the fact that they present meals that we wouldn’t make at home - with always an interesting twist & use of different ingredients! Thank you so much for doing what you are doing in the community!

Last night was my first time eating from Grunt (take out) though I have been in for cocktails before. Wow! Just wow! Dinner and dessert last night were amazing! Vegan chili and the halloumi salad were the best things I have eaten since I have started isolation. The coffee cake for dessert was out of this world. I can't wait until I can dine in. Thank you folks for the amazing food and for offering pick up.
