My friend and I tried a few items and the food just seemed like it was old and not fresh. Not the best of indian food to be honest, it’s better to just get pizza or something. Definitely do not recommend.

Wish there was option to give zero star. Very bad quality of food, low quantity, no real taste at all, looks like same taste in every dish and, very sour and old.Worst customer service, they even don’t have a person to pick up the phone call, always in rush to hangup call. Dine- in area was very dirty. All the tables were used and not cleaned. When i informed someone then person cooking inside kitchen came out to clean some tables with dirty hands and still didn’t clean properly to sit and eat there. Again, they served main course before appetizers and even didn’t bother to give us water. Very poor service and no manners to staff. Sorry they even don’t have staff there. As I remember same person took the order, cooked inside, served and cleaned the tables. While eating phone was ringing there all the times and multiple customers and delivery drivers wait outside and noone to serve them at all. There must be a server to serve the customers and drivers, it’s not their fault to wait there for no reasons just because they are out of staff or whatever.I don’t wanna use bad words but some of business owners like them use immigrants to get their work done from one person and at that time customers and other people suffers lot. I heard lot that they use students and other people for immigration purposes and get them to do cooking, picking up phone calls, attending customer, packing orders and washing dishes at same times at very low wages. This is just so brutal. They should shame on themselves and at least fear of God.No words for them.Just suggesting that don’t waste your time and money at this restaurant. Even pre made frozen food is much better than them.

I have been to Karara for first time food is very delicious & I would suggest to visit. Best thing was offer and deals all naan breads are of same price. I loved it
Ordered butter chicken with naan, rice and salad. The salad was just 5 pieces of lettuce on the rice, and there was a (beard?!) hair in the butter chicken. Butter chicken only had 3 small pieces of chicken. Not worth the money.

I enjoyed the butter chicken and daal tanka each time I come. The best Indian food I have had in Ottawa.The value is in the food. It is counter service and a simple dining area. If you are looking for a date night, leave the kids with grandparents, bring it home and settle in with Netflix.

Really tasty food - got the butter chicken, Shahi paneer, Samosa chat and Chicken pakora. The garlic naan too was really good!

I went in because the smell was so good when I was in the parking lot, I do not regret it. Lots of choices but the man working there suggested chicken Tikka masala and it was really tasty, I will be returning to try more of their food.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are highlighted in the menu
