I used to enjoy visiting Kettlemans, it was a go-to spot for late-night meals during my time in Undergrad. However, I've noticed a decline in the quality of their food and a significant increase in prices over the years, which has led my partner and me to visit much less frequently. Most recently, I ordered the Kettleman's Special, which used to be really delicious. This time, it only had a small layer of smoked salmon and the rest was filled with 6 or 7 layers of tomato. I remember when that sandwich used to be generously filled with smoked salmon, but now they seem to be very stingy with their ingredients.It's disappointing to see the decline of what used to be an Ottawa staple.

Amazing! Will come back everytime I'm in town. Prices are a tidge high, but can't really argue with it. Delicious and fresh and you can watch them making it!!My toddler loved watching the oven hahaGreat place!!Yum Yum Yum!

Overpriced. Bagels are like raisins that use to be grapes. The smoke meat was absolutely atrocious and should be called microwaved Spam. Overall mostly edible but they have got too comfortable raking in the money from the now victims they call customers. In a perfect world the owner would take a descent business and try to make their product better not just try to profit because $30 for a couple slapped together bagels is too much.

These people know how to make a bagel sandwich, and they bring that Montreal je ne sais quois to wherever they go. Their take on the Cuban sandwich is interesting, to say the least, but it's a nifty interpretation of a classic and takes full advantage of Montreal-style bagel craftsmanship.

The place was extremely dirty. Garbage over flowing lay on top of the bins garbage on tables, tables are filthy not washed floors not clean services was terrible staff members had attitudes towards customers

I was given an unevenly dressed bagel which all the condiments squished to the middles, and so I showed them and explained the problem and I was given a new bagel with no problems. Service was very great!
As first time visitors, my husband and I both REALLY enjoyed our food! I got the cheese and herd bagel with dill cream cheese which I loved, and my husband got the garlic bagel with dairy-free dill cream cheese. He couldn't stop raving about how good it was! The atmosphere is also super fun and cozy. We'll definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: They've got delicious dairy-free cream cheese.
