This was a Google search recommendation (best poutine places in Ottawa). The fries were homemade, freshly cooked per order. We sampled the philly cheese steak and the Italian poutines this time around, not realizing we could build our own. Both were excellent. The small size is plenty for one person. They have a few bar stools to sit or stand at a counter to eat.

If I could get them a 0 star I could got on the phone hold trying to explain and request gluten free gravy as a usual request but whoever answer the phone on this date 12/31/2023 at 5:18pm put me on hold for more than 5 mins when I gave my order to be fix he said you don't offer that product when I have it before several time and he hang up and he quoted and if not available on the do not order it and hang up like what kind of customer service is that. Also no friendly at all for people that have Dietary reason since their staff are not trained on it at all.

Absolutely the best poutine in Ottawa. Very friendly guy at the front and so many routine options including a make your own one. They have vegan cheese and sweet potatoes as an option for you diabetics out there!! Reasonably priced too and easy parking. It's not really a sit down place but they have a few seats.

I've was never so addicted to poutine until I ordered one from here. You can "build your own" and pick from so many meat & veggie toppings! Super filling so a large makes two meals! BEST poutine I've ever eaten & won't order from anywhere else!

Solid poutine, many varieties. Went in here to feed my poutine addiction while visiting Canada w my kids from the US. Ordered a large original poutine, a bacon poutine and a smoked meat poutine. All were made fresh and served hot and aplenty. The curds were nice and melty and it definitely hit the spot. No frills, all delicious. The attendant was kind and efficient and wished me happy new year a couple times. Great take out spot.

The poutine my wife and I ordered exceeded expectations! Fresh cut fries, stringy cheese curds and delicious gravy - it’s the best poutine I’ve ever had. Large quantities and a great price, and they don’t skimp on the specialty meats. This place is a hidden gem.

Absolutely delicious poutine. Ordered through Skip last week as we had just moved in and needed some grub, and it survived the delivery very well. In fact, the takeout containers were PIPING hot and it tasted very fresh.I ordered the meat lovers and they were very generous with toppings without skimping on fries. The "large" was almost enough to split, and half of it became the next days lunch because it was so filling. Also, very reasonable price, especially after being scammed at Smokes! I will definitely order again!
These guys are a bunch of jokers. The ones working today anyway. I had been ordering poutine here many times. The guy at the counter today was Nickel and diming on everything. I asked for a vegetarian poutine and he charged me $ 19.30 when very clearly online their menu price is different.Usually the guys I have dealt with are great and never over charge except for this time. Nice way of building yourself a bad reputation. I don't even care that it is an extra few dollars but just the principle reeks of a lack of ethics.When I pointed out the menu they acted confused. One guy said there's a 10% reduction on the online menu yet the price didn't add up regardless :)

It's a confusing location as you notice the pizza sign first and the only indication of the restaurant is a small sign on the entry door. It's not an inviting place inside either nor does the chef seem to care if you order or not. But despite all those issues, the poutine was great. We ordered one classic and Philly cheese steak. Everyone loved the Philly cheesesteak one with the addition of the chopped meat giving it some alternate texture. The gravy was very tasty and the cheese curds were so melted and delicious. I burned my mouth as I was impatient to eat it. Hope they can improve the fist issues but food is worth eating for sure!

Fries were a bit sweet, yukon golds are the best for poutine. Gravy was the highlight, it was very good. I ordered the chicken shawarma poutine however the chicken they put on it was not shawarma chicken, it was just chunks of breast that had been pan fried and seasoned. Good for a hungry late night meal however I’m going to opt for elsewhere if I’m looking for a shawarma poutine.
