Been in here a few times since covid. One of the few places I am able to find arctic char, and it was so damn good! No regrets.They didn't have any squid defrosted but had some in their freezer, so walked off with that too. Look forward to making it later this week.Thanks again!Laura
I just moved to the Sandy hill area and have been exploring the Byward market from the perspective of a true food market. Byward seems to struggle as a food market vs. Tourist market and I get it. As a new resident to the area I am happy that Lapointe is a solid fish market with a diverse selection, whole fish, a variety of oysters and lots of organic farm raised options! I will continue to visit this place!

Belle petite poissonnerie au coeur du marché by. Armez-vous de patience pour un stationnement, mais c’est toujours agréable de marcher quand on est stationné plus loin, car beaucoup de choses à voir. Le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux. Service en français ? le saumon fumé à chaud et à froid sont tout simplement délicieux. Je recommande
